We welcome the chase....

Good to see Ra Sellik once again celebrating being second. Aberdeen have pretty much fell off the map so won't even mention them.

Anyways, Merry Xmas to you all no matter what side you follow in this little stty SPL of ours. biggrin

Congrats to the Tims. A lot more hungry then we were. Jelavic seems uninterested just now for some reason, our second half performance was dire.

Enjoy the 2 point gap while you have it wink

I don't support either half of the old firm as I don't want to be associated with all of the bile that is spouted by a huge majority of the supporters, what an embarrassment to our city.

The most pleasing aspect of the Motherwell game has to be the improvement in the midfield area - thought Edu had a good game and allowed us to get the best out of Davis. The passing was much more accurate and meaningful whilst the tempo was much better.

Im still not convinced that Healy is the man to get us the goals we need but I feel that he deserves a chance to make an impact off the bench.

Delighted for John Fleck though, I thought he played very well. We have been missing the link play between the front line and the midfield and I thought he performed this role very well. Against Timmy last Wednesday the strikers looked very isolated with the lack of support from the midfield. Fleck bridged that gap today and we saw a lot more of the ball.It was refreshing to have a mobile midfield unit, something that has been sorely lacking with Jig in the team.

It may only be Motherwell at home and tougher tests await, especially away from home, but I look forward to and hope that this is a system we can play much more often. Fleck deserves a run in the team and with Laff crocked for the next month or so it seems he will get it.

I just hope that this team born out of necessity isnt dismantled once Jig and co get back to fitness. Surely McCoist will not revert back to type once Lee is fit again? - my only concern of a very satisfactory game for the Gers.

The draft accounts are prepared and will have been substantially audited.

The one matter to be resolved is the tax case which clearly affects the club's ability to trade as a 'going concern'.

The auditor must consider and comment on 'going concern' matters before completing the audit report.

If the tax case goes against us our accounts will be qualified on 'going concern'. If teh tax case is resolved in our favour, then an unqualified report will be prepared.

This is merely playing for time and is pretty much all we can do until the tax case is resolved.
