Well you did say that the stadium, players and training ground had very little value then shutting the doors on day one of administration would have saved £7 million and it would still have as you said the fan base value of £5.5 million! wink

Ah good, clear evidence of your alleged criminal activity by administrators.

Do you think Duff and Phelps have done a good job?

Are you happy with their practices?

So are you waiting for BDO to investigate and go with what they say?

WRT to the "undervaluation" of the club and the like, or just general practices? I have no reason to believe D&P weren't trying their best to do their job. Unfortunately for them, it seems like every time they dug a little deeper they found another layer of ste. Most bidders seemed to take a look a little bit under the surface and run a mile.

The club was worth close to diddly squat IMHO, with there being a risk of buying a football club with no football to play. The only real value was in risky future revenues.

If the club were undervalued, shirley there would be a queue of people lining up to buy it? That doesn't appear to have been the case.

I've got no clue what is going on with Rangers etc but saw a point earlier about the land.

Why couldn't houses have been built on the training ground or where the stadium is?

IIRC it's in the deeds or such that you can't build homes on the land.

Might be wrong; might not be 'watertight' or the like.

Greens pulling out all the stops to gain interest in this shares issue.

He's certainly made a few Villa fans with his latest outburst

That's not alleged, those are facts, which of those figures do you not agree with because you said the club was only worth what Chucky paid and the other figures are documented ?

Rangers are in trouble if he genuinely believes any of what he's said.

That's the issue. Nobodys sure if Chucky is daft or doing a Whyte on the Rangers fans.

There's no way he can say with any authority the things he claims as facts and has done for months.

To an outsider, he's in to make a quick buck and get out.

I am just stating the figures that are available, so which ones don't you agree with?

What part of "they couldn't sell it to anyone" don't you agree with?

How hard did they try?
Was the some of it's parts greater than the whole?
Why didn't they not try for a fans share buyout if the" bears" are so loyal?

How hard did they try? AFAIK they followed the normal procedures for disposing of the assets of a company in liquidation. Care to enlighten us as to where they didn't?
Was the some of it's parts greater than the whole? I don't know, you don't know, they do know because they were fielding all the offers.
Why didn't they not try for a fans share buyout if the" bears" are so loyal? There job is not to go out hawking the assets around to anyone/everyone. It is for prospective purchasers to make them an offer.

Their job is to maximise money for the creditors and if that means rangers were worth less than nothing (-£2.5 million) well fair enough! wink
