Dear god

I get it, you'll never admit it.
I'll never understand your definition of a football club, if it is something financial and not the affinity it has with its supporters.

Kind regards,
God

To the Celtic fans still going on about this, instead of actually discussing the football, can I ask, why do you even care?

Why are you still going on about this?
Who's a Celtic fan?

For the millionth time, it's a thread to talk about Rangers. People are doing just that.

What you infer from that is up to you but that's what the thread is for.

Technically we should have a new thread for SevCo mind you.

Point to note, supporters do just that. Provide financial support for the club. I.e go to the games and buy tickets.

Fans are a different kettle of fish.

If you're suggesting the achievement of a club should be awarded to it's fans then that's just a bit daft.

A football club is, in no particular order:

- Team
- Fans
- Stadium
- Name
- Badge
- History/Legends

and certainly not:

- the company that runs it.

That's what happens when you're playing in Div3.

So it depends on what league the team is playing in whether or not the fans want

Sense of humour fail here lads, Doogz set it up and i couldn't let it go.

I would agree there's a lot of internet twaddle and bickering but it's an open forum to discuss the subject so folk can't get shirty when other folk do discuss it.

Whatever their motives.

It's getting all very petty isn't it.

Celtic football club had a new company formed to help out financially, So have Rangers Football Club. Only difference is Celtics original company didn't get liquidated.

Do you see anyone arguing that Leeds United aren't the same club with the same history?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leeds_United_A.F.C.#2...
What about Middlesburgh?

The only reason that celtic registered another company was so that no one else could register the name. The original company was simply restructured. As explained on the previous page.

Almost a shame ICT humped them last night. Being drawn against Celtic would have been funny/brutal.
I don't know, Celtic could've actually got a result against Barcelona the other week, you should never say never biggrin

Hopefully we'll get to the 4th round of the Scottish Cup at some point in the next few seasons to find out hehe

Terzo 123, as far as I can gather.

Which of the Teuchtar teams do you follow?

Good result for ICT last night.

OlberJ, I get that it's a thread to talk about Rangers. There just seem to be more Celtic fans than Rangers fans, more interested in sticking the boot in than talking about football.
Yip. ICT could have stumbled at this one...

Leeds never went into liquidation, they managed to get a CVA

Middlesborough did go into liquidation, but were never liquidated.

Rangers, yesterday went into liquidation, who is going to save them from being liquidated? That would put Sevco in a bit of a position if that was to happen. What club would the fans follow?

Relates to one of the shareholders in The Rangers

Reported also that Charles Green is subject to a separate tax inquiry too.

I was under the impression there were hardly any tax inspectors too.
