Forgot about this, in the last 3 weeks one coupon up and two only let down by one game..I'm getting better.

anyway, bet 365 are doing the risk free bet in play tonight on the arsenal v Liverpool game.

So bet up to £50 before the game on over 0.5 goals this returns a whopping £52

bet a 0-0 draw at 12/1 to cover the bet.

Your down £3 odd whatever the result. But then you can put on £50 bet in play, if this loses you get it back, if it wins you get the winnings.

I go for something safe like both teams to score and double my money as I'm boring.

Most people would have seen these. But for those that haven't:

https://twitter.com/bettingpro/status/635796274810... - No idea why you'd add them it ad odds of only 1/5. Not worth the risk.

How gutting ey!

Forgot to mention: the Saturday before last I had 2.50 on a 15 team accumulator.

Got 13 right. The last two were draws. No £10k for me frown

Also: Jess Ennis-Hill at 2/1 to be SPOTY2015 must be printing money, surely?

Like your style moanthebairns. That's the way I view some of these offers. Great minds and all that.

Provided you are a good judge without fan boy bias, that bet365 offer is a worthwhile play to fully explore.

I have taken advantage of it several times before and have already placed a wager on tonight's match. I do not feel Arsenal are a realistic odds-on chance for the win so have had a few quid on a Liverpool win. I could be wrong of course but Liverpool @ 4-1 attracts. So far my main pre-KO bet has won. Thus, my "In play" free bet which can be placed to cover the pre-KO bet has been "We've given you your money back".

Man City were odds on to win at Everton yesterday. Too risky. Over the week end, I searched the various on-line bookies looking at a Man City win to nil. 1-0. 2-0 etc. Odds for that around 2-1 but, one bookie a little more generous with 23-10.

It pays to shop around ~ there can be a huge variation in some "in-play" or "in-running" bets too. They change quickly. Some bookies less quickly off the mark than others. If you are a good judge and can read the race a few laps ahead, you can take advantage. Take yesterday's F1 Grand Prix. There was a wide range of in-running bets and when Vettel's aged tyres looked likely to allow Grosjean to catch and pass on his fresher tyres with a few laps to go, I had a few quid @ 2-1 Grosjean for a podium. I did not expect the tyre to self-destruct, I based my wager on Grosjean being able to catch and pass Vettel. As it happened that was not necessary as the worn tyre self-destructed for some reason.

You did not need a crystal ball to suspect a Hamilton win yesterday and at 4-9 or 2-5, those skinny odds do not appeal for the small stakes << 2£50 punter ~ far too risky. Even a dual forecast Mercedes 1-2 was a measly 4-9.

If you backed Hamilton three times to level stakes over three races say for £90 to win £40 and he lost one of those three races, even though you won twice on the other two, you are still a tenner out of pocket.

That's what I mean by unattractive odds. Prior to Q3, Hamilton was 4-6 which is slightly more attractive.

Those are some of my weekend bets. Helps to pass the time..... smile

So a bet riding tonight @ 4-1 Liverpool for the win. I like to see London Teams beat those from the northern cities, particularly Liverpool and Manchester outfits so if the The Gunners beat the Scousers tonight... kind of win-win scenario for me even if the Scousers get beat. My "free" in play bet may cover that though... my kind of bets.... Be lucky .... thumbup

Explain how you do it again? I'm so matched betting so I match the qualifying bet loosing £3-5 then match something that has a good chance of loosing getting my stake back plus about £35 if it does. Probably against the spirit of the thread but my days of real betting are over!

Too many possibilities but here's what I've done. The offer applies to bets of £50 or less. So I just fancy Liverpool and have had a few quid on them @ 4-1 to win. I've yet to decide where my in-play free bet is to go as I'm looking for value. Liverpool now 11-4 from 4-1 because they've looked more likely to score although both sides have had good chances.

Arsenal no longer odds on, actually odds against @ 5-4 and those odds can go longer if the current play continues. Half time now so I will check and see what updated odds are available before deciding on my free bet up to the maximum of my pre-Kick-Off bet. I could lump it all on Arsenal so only a draw would spoil the show. But i could have a non-free bet on the draw so whatever happens, home-away win or draw I will get something back.

I'll hold fire on my free bet until a few minutes into the second half when the first half form of both teams could be turned completely around. There again if Liverpool in the second half look the team more likely to score as they did in the first half, I could have my free bet on Liverpool ... What could possibly go wrong.

Decisions ... decisions .... helps to pass the time.

P.S. I only ever bet on things I know and understand and ALWAYS what I can afford after all the bills are paid. Never chase my losses either. Repeat never because there's always tomorrow's new opportunities to test my judgement against the odds.... wink

Arsenal are out to over 2-1 on some lists. I've had the free in-play bet on Arsenal so unless it's a draw, when I simply lose my original pre-Kick Off Bet which I would normally be prepared to do anyway, whichever team wins I'll win a few quid. Draw now hot favourite odds.

Arsenal more likely to score based on second half so far.

Meantime c'mon you Gunners and Scousers... Somebody score perleeeze... .... biggrin

I normally go for both teams to score but the odds were st. On a whim I saw I was getting back 170 for Liverpool to win on corners for a 50 quid stake.

fk it. Imagine my surprise when at half time they had a cash out at 156 quid. Take it now. They won on corners but by one.

So 104 placed in total

Money doubled. 150 up for season so far.

Bet365 offer on Monday coming on City v Liverpool game.
Bet £50 pre match and £50 in play and if you lose the in play bet you get the in play £50 back.
I done this offer on the champions league final.
Bet £50 pre match on o0.5 goals and £3.xx at another bookies on 0-0.
This essentially makes the in play bet at a cost of something like £1.50-£2.

Using this method I put the in play £50 on Ramos scoring in the CL final which won me £550.

I did this bet. About a minute into the game I put 50 on for man u to win on corners.

It froze and declared betting suspended. Meanwhile arsenal won two corners and the odds sky rocket for man United to do it.

I decided to plump for over 6 corners in the first half to find out both bets had been placed.

fk, lost 50 quid come the end of the first half and was set to loose another until man u went ahead on corners and I hastily cashed out on £130.

Could have been costly in what's so far been easy money. I'll take 30 profit. I've easily made 200 from this 365 offer. Thanks

Bet365 offer is back up, bet £50 on over 0.5 goals and then cover it so with a 0-0. You'll make a loss of a couple of quid but get in play offer.
