Filthy game as per usual. Still, good result!

I'm actually torn cos I've been to the Bernabau, love Xabi Alonso (natch) but hate Maureen and Ronaldo (obv).
Did you watch a game? I went a few years ago and they were playing in the Champions League against Roma, £300 a ticket! fk that!

I went to the Nou Camp once... the mighty Benidorm were visiting. Messi missed the penalty towards the end and slotted in the rebound, finished 1-0. hehe

Only 20 Euros for great seats

I've been the Camp a couple of times. First time was off-season, the second time U2 were playing so the pitch was covered :/

Probably had enough after being kicked quite regularly (once again). Carvalho's knee high tackle from behind was most likely the proverbial straw.

Agree about the game generally though - far too much play acting by both sides & some typically unpleasant activity, though not even in an enjoyable hard man kind of way. Mind you, recent Clasicos have rarely been much fun, bar laughing at Maureen.

This story is to my eternal shame and I'll never live it down! Me and Lady H booked 3 nights in Madrid, they were due to play someone on Sunday night, think it was Valencia. Checked it all out, hotels booked well in advance etc. Got to Madrid on Friday, Saturday morning comes and queued up for about an hour and a half amongst the throng for tickets and were well chuffed with the tickets we got.

Went out and got lashed Saturday night, tapas etc. Get up on Sunday hyped for the game, have a chilled hungover day around Madrid, mooch over to the stadium and its totally deserted - what the fk? Turns out a week or two before they had moved the game to Saturday night as they had a Champions League fixture on Tuesday... NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! hehe

They gave us a free stadium tour though and a 50E voucher for the club shop, which was nice.

Cock!
