I care not for team gb but how would A player the age of Adam play for them?

I thought you had to be youth (21ish)
Each team can have a certain number of 21 (or 23 I think) - I think you are allowed 3.

There's provision for a couple of older players. Becks is a shoe-in for example.

We got linked with him 12 months ago ( at the time we had hundreds of players the papers said we wanted so don't read to much into that)

According to google arsenal and Lyon want him too.

I am curious to see what is going to happen in this transfer window, not really sure what we need to do. Without a doubt we need all of them to start finding the back of the net rather than the woodwork. Not sure if i can stomach another huge amount being spent on duds.

Another thing i am curious about is how long did we have that goalkeeping coach for as we arguably had one of the best if not the best keeper in the prem and he has seriously gone of the boil so is it a coincidence or has he tailed off anyway due to who is in front of him, the Reina of old was worth a good few points a season!

Having watched a YouTube video of Ryad Boudebouz, I can safely say he is exactly the sort of player we need. A skillful winger who isn't afraid to take people on and can cross and shoot.

What are his woodwork stats? You need someone who can shoot accurately, as the woodwork is bloody hard to hit.

I saw him hit the woodwork twice in the video. He is PERFECT.

Who'd have Downing? Stoke maybe or a Fulham. We'd be lucky to get 10 million for him.

I don't ever remember a Liverpool winger going a full season with a return of 0 goals and 0 assists.

What a disaster of a purchase. How did the story go? Our 35 million pound striker needs a 20 million pound winger to cross the ball for him.

Of course the irony is that far too often when Carroll has come on as a sub its been Downing who's been taken off!
