Considering Kenny took over a team in 12th place and we're likely to finish 7th/8th as well as a domestic cup, reaching the final of the FA cup and we've secured a place for the UEFA cup i'd say we've done alright. I know a lot of people disagree but I consider the new style of play we have a great success. Positive and attacking. Juxtapose this with the negative defensive s te we were playing under Hodgson and it shows how far we've come. Our signings haven't been the greatest success but downing aside, the other two are young and have plenty of scope to improve. I'm pretty happy overall and really looking forward to the next season. I will have one of whatever you are drinking please, this season has been f king tragic apart from one minor cup We really need to take the Kenny glasses off here - its been disastrous. That said I'd only want him out if we have a top drawer replacement and the only one I'd be happy with is Mourinho and thats never happening.

A very apt end to season for us. Going out with a whimper.
Couldn't care less about citeh and the mancs, what I care about is LFC not having another like this next year.

Well a lot of my perspective is due to the fact that I look past results to how we're performing and playing in general. Pretty much every journalist seems to agree that we've dominated a number of games and created plenty of chances but just not found the net often enough. I think if we continue in this way the goals will come.

Come on mate, the only time anyone looks 'beyond results' is when the results don't go their way. Football is a simple game, if you can't put the ball in the net then the rest is irrelevant. We may have been unlucky here and there but the same happening over the season is no longer about luck. We need changes not excuses. The season is over. FSG need to act.

It's my opinion that there can be a very thin line between winning a series of games and drawing/losing a series of games. This season we've been on the wrong side of that. But I don't think it's too far to get on the right side..

At the end of the day, whichever side we support; be it Liverpool, Man United, Man City, Chelsea or Yeovil Town, we are all joined by a love of a game that has no equal anywhere else in sport. A game where although it has a shady, dark side and often seemingly breaks into periods of self-abuse, all too often it comes out the other side stronger and closer together.
Events like Fabrice Muamba, Hillsborough, Bradford City and other tragic or near-tragic occurances bring fans of all sides together like no other. Tribal differences are put aside for the good of the game as barriers are lowered when fans get together and support each other. Its the way it should be but rarely is.
Enjoy the last day of competition lads, it promises to be a stormer. Aha, said today would be a stormer.... As far as the manager goes, you could do worse than tempt Roberto Martinez away from Wigan. Their chairman has often said he will try to keep hold of him as long as possible but he is your man. Plays football the right way and is media-savvy as well as being genuinely humorous too.

Pique said: The Carling Cup is worth about as much as the Community Shield. And the opposition in that final - an also-ran championship club - probably deserved to win it more. Without Gerrards cousin fluffing a pen, it would have been a bleak day. Thinking about it, if you had lost that day, you might have had a different manager by now.

As satisfying as that was I'd rather be in the Champions League next season.
Thank God the season is over. We can't carry on as we are, that much is obvious.
The owners need to come out tomorrow. Either back him and give him money or replace him straight away. Any delay is a mistake. Over to you FSG.[/]
We don't have enough money or pull for the very best players so a pseudo Newcastle approach is called for which incorporates tactics being used effectively and creatively. This s a none starter as many times this year inc FA cup final our tactics were ver wrong
I fear of next season I really do, my expectation this year was 3rd at worst - I was deluded.
You can be a fan, an optimist and a believer but nagging away is the realist that has seen our beloved LFC play some real uncreative crap this season.
