Ronaldo's just ridiculous.
Bale is doing most of the scoring.

I preferred Ronaldo's goal. Plus...

31 - Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 31 goals in his last 25 Champions League games. Beast.

Stunning set of goals tonight, what a feast. Ronaldo is a tt though eh. Bale sets him up a peach, he scores and turns away from Bale celebrating elsewhere. No acknowledgement at all.

Bale's brace was excellent too.

A chap on Talksport mentioned that Bale has scored more goals than all six English league representative teams in Europe in the first round of the Euro ties.

Madrid looked a bit special tonight i thought.

Interesting tweet from a freelance footie journalist tonight...

Jimmy @JFergusonSPORT

First openly gay PL footballer who played for England last night will come out as gay on Sunday in a @SunSportNow @TheSunFootball exclusive

Might just be rubbish and I guess the player may well have a change of heart and not come out but it is bound to attract speculation.

How can you come out the closet if you're already openly gay?

Presumably there are levels of openly gay, or you can't be arsed with any legal fees - rightly or wrongly.

Assuming correct, difficult to think beyond 3 or 4 names and reckon I could narrow that down a bit.

Agree with you on this. You only have to look at the reaction for Tom Daley and the ex footballers who have come out to realise that the majority of the population don't see this as a big event. (sure that some idiots will, but thats the same with anything)

The cynic in me thinks such a revelation may provide a timely boost to their chances of getting in the World Cup squad.....

It doesn't matter who it is does it? I wish the whole world could collectively go 'oh ok' and move on. Instead there will be a furore.

Of course it matters, how will the opposing team supporters know who to chant witty and amusing songs at?
