Breaking News:

Alan Irvine has been appointed as the new manager of West Bromwich Albion on a 12-month rolling contract.

Very strange appointment after Tim Sherwood revealed he would not be taking on the job. I'm guessing Baggies fans will be hugely underwhelmed at this news.

That's the danger of letting all of your established back five leave at once at the end of the season. You end up having to gel together five new signings who are strangers, most of which haven't played with each other before.

Inevitable really, just hope we don't get too many more of those come up.

Has anyone forgiven Hoddle yet? Bringing him into the QPR setup is a clear indication of intention to manage a PL team and then England, maybe for 2018...

Barcelona's transfer appeal rejected.

Barcelona will be unable to sign players until January 2016 after world governing body Fifa rejected the club's appeal against a transfer ban.

Yet they were able to sign Suarez. FIFA, you just couldn't make it up.

That's ridiculous, they should now ban anyone they have signed this window from playing until Jan 2016 laugh

There was some talk on Twitter about this yesterday, a couple of guys were saying they hoped Mackay didn't get the CPFC job as he's a proper and the club deserve better, wasn't expecting this though yikes

Maybe Vincent Tan wasn't the villain of the piece after all
