Does anyone honestly think we are going to see any big money deadline moves?
Unless it's something that has been going on for a while I can't see a club selling someone with no time to get a replacement in. It'll have to be obscene money to sway them.
I can see a Berahino or Austin type as they've been around for a while. But the Bale type rumour I think is nonsense to try and keep fans happy in "well we tried" kind of way.
Eta: especially with the Euro leagues closing today. They don't have the time to replace.

Word that DDG is away to Real Madrid and United are to buy Anthony Martial today.

DDG has been talked about for weeks. Martial...a 35 million pound 19 year old who plays in France and has barely scored a goal. As I said, a silly money offer would be needed.
We were linked with him a few months ago for a much smaller fee obviously.£36M seems an awful lot for a 19 year old boy.
Of course he could turn out to be a world beater but surely the Utd fans would want a ready made experienced centre forward.
Love San Marino's celebrations after they scored their first away goal in 14 years

'Top Four' looks like becoming 'Top Three' sooner rather than later.

Oh good. I can already see it. In a miracle of miracles on the last day of the season Spurs clinch 4th place against all odds with a win and their nearest rivals somehow all losing, only for a week later an Italian team doing what is needed to tip the coefficient and only 3 English clubs make the CL. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/competit...

I can sort of understand the "only 3" part in relationship to the Spanish having a ridiculous, UEFA stuntastic 5. But with the new PL TV rights money comming in, theirs really nothing to worry for PL clubs or their future in Europe; cash in abondance; even former, insignificant and low placed PL clubs receive an amount of money (more than 70% of their revenue) which sees them suddenly competing with big clubs from Germany, Spain, Italy and France in terms of both finances and players.
Some were good goals as well, the 5th is a screamer. https://twitter.com/TheSoccerLifee/status/64641337...
