The BBC - Price of Football survey is out. Which team rips it's fans off the most?

I've got to say that £2.50 for a cup of tea at Man U and Man City is a bit steep!

Newport County's cheapest season ticket is more expensive than the least costly for Premier League champions Manchester City, a BBC study has found.
The cheapest season ticket to watch the Conference Premier leaders cost £300 while an equivalent ticket at the Etihad Stadium is £275.

I'm more surprised at how cheap the cheapest Man City season ticket is. £275 to see all that talent is a bargin IMO.

Thats amazingly cheap, although given who they are owned by, they dont really need lots of ticket revenue. I can possibly see that changing when the new financial fair play rules come in

Leeds fans - bunch of absolute thugs. Disgraceful scenes, Chris Kirkland getting hit in the face by a fan and the rest of the fans behind that goal acting like yobs. Leeds have already apologised but jesus, this stuff is from the dark ages.

Good derby though, lots of blood and thunder.

fk off. Clearly the chap who did is a of epic proportions, and has already been named by other fans. However to brand us all like that is retarded

Just put a link in the leeds thread, he's already on bail for hooliganism, and due in court on monday. There was also a rumour that he had previously been ripping other Leeds fans off too, but I will wait and see on that part

Not a million miles from the truth though, albeit there are worse. Assaulting the goalie (even though I agree, somewhat reluctantly, with Tony Soprano's mum), isn't great, mixing in with ripping up seats and moronic chants just gives that boost.

If that's my view as an ex resident (who thoroughly enjoyed the time, so has a certain tendency towards defense), what do the somewhat less concerned and more Heil think?

The guy who did that is a complete and utter tt, he deserves everything he gets.

But I'm not sure why the keeper is down and receiving treatment for so long though? Not taking away from how much of a the "SUPPORTER" is though.

Also, as a Man Utd fan, it's not all Leeds United/their fans. Just one chav on this occasion.

When your first words are "fk off", clearly a well balanced view there. I didn't tar all Leeds fans with the same brush - I was referring to the ones visible behind Kirkland's goal - clearly on camera you can see many more than just the one thug who were ready to kick off, some spilling onto the pitch. That wasn't "happy we scored" celebrations, that was more yobbish than that. And he clearly gets let back into the crowd to escape and patted on the back. He wasn't the only one, nor was it all Leeds fans.

Wind yer neck in and look at the footage.

What were the 'marshalls' doing? He ran right past two of them on his way back to the terrace (the Leppings Lane end too, as if that hasn't seen enough bad things). They should have jumped on him until the police arrested him.

Of course all Leeds fans are not hooligans, just as all of Millwall, Cardiff and Birmingham are not. Just quite a few of them.

Although I agree with the words above, I think it's unhelpful to threads like this to say 'Leeds fans - bunch of absolute thugs.' which is BOUND to illicit a strong reaction. I know a fair few Leeds fans NONE of whom are thugs, so if we could steer clear of that sort of generalisation I'd be grateful, thanks.

Fair enough - I was only referring to the ones on camera behind the goal though. And they were... Being told to fk off was OTT, even if I could have worded my original post a bit clearer.

From the footage the marshals didn't look prepared and there weren't enough of them. Can they jump on them in this day and age? Probably not without inviting accusations of assault from the toerag being restrained...

As above, my initial reaction was a tad abrupt, as it appeared FM was stating that all Leeds fans were like the small section that caused the trouble last night.
