Video evidence is being used more than ever before and quite often firstly by the media. That means games that do not have TV cameras will not be subject to the same scrutiny. You will not find any sympathy for Balotelli but if we continue to use Sky as a way of refeering a game after the final whistle then surely that is not a good thing.
No it isnt and sky cover every single prem game. Honestly you make this up as you go along johnxjsc1985 said:

Equally if you are going to use it how is it the Lescott managed to get away with a forearm smash?.
Agree about Lescott, that was deliberate for sure.Equally if you are going to use it how is it the Lescott managed to get away with a forearm smash?.

With the advent of video evidence everyone is judged, including the officials these days, which is perhaps arguably why this decision was reached. Suggesting that Webb, whilst meaning it, also felt obliged to state in his full match report that on reviewing the incident, had he seen the 'stamp' he would have brandished a straight red.
How far do you take this though?

Ballotellis agent calls for Webb to be banned for life Think Fergie may have something to say about that.

Now you've just got to learn WHERE to place it within a post for presentation.Ballotellis agent calls for Webb to be banned for life Think Fergie may have something to say about that.

"If I find that there is something strange against Balotelli, my duty is to protect and then take him away. In this case I would speak with City, I'd ask them Balotelli's price and would look for the best team for him, as there are only six or seven teams he can play for."
The crux....agent starts feeding bullst to Balotelli and gets him a move. :kerching:
City fans, enjoy Balotelli while it lasts. He'll be gone, along with all the other guns for hire soon. Shame...

that was assault surely? grabatelli seems to be a very gifted player but cant control the anger.
As for the ban he should appeal. And WHEN it gets knocked back just quote the FA's casebook for rooney's 3match ban which would of ruled him out of the euro's group stages.
Too much inconsistency in the FA

Rooneys case was uefa not the fa,and I wouldn't compare kicking out at someone's legs to trying to stamp on someone's head.but the fa are inconsistent no doubt. As for the ban he should appeal. I don't think Balotelli connected with Parker intentionally but only Balotelli, rather than SKY super slo-mo, can prove one way or the other in this instance.
i'm not at all interested in football really but heard some amusing stories about this guy so wondered into this thread.
i've now watched the video of the 'stamp'
the idea that someone who is stumbling/jogging backwards can accurately stamp on the face/head of somebody on the ground behind them, as they rotate through 180 degrees, is rather strange.
