25 of La Liga's players made guardians top 100 players this year vs 31 from the prem. Ronaldo voted no1 by 75% of the panel for first time. Runner up to messiest two years.
These list are always questionable. It's quite evident that Ronaldo and Messi are on top. Just as Neuer and Robben are in 3th and 4th (or just as well 4th and 3th), after those four it gets more difficult.

Just to name a few; Bale, Hazard, Toure and Turan are too high on the list IMO. And DiMaria, Reus, Rooney, Ivanovic and Depay are too low. And where's Sneijder.

Could that little genius be showing us how it's done on a cold Tuesday night in Stoke anytime soon?

speculation is building isn't it....

Leaving and arguably ageing Barca side, arguably past its best (which was unbelievable btw) he might be thinking hmmm, half a million a week...sounds good.

getting kicked up in the air on a tuesday night at Stoke might not be so appealing though.

Ronaldo back home if messi leaves hehe

Would like to see him in the PL for sure but shame to see him leave Barca not totally happy after all he has done there.

Luis Enrique will leave Barcelona before Messi.
Plus how would Chelsea come up with the money for him?
No chance IMO.

Yeah I agree. There were some reports saying that Adidas and/or Turkish Airlines would pay a large amount for Chelsea if Messi was to leave Barca.

Luis Enrique will leave/sacked before Messi.

Appears Leo pulls the strings at Barcelona.
Enrique departure in the near future.
Rijkard being touted.
Let's see what happens. Messi is going nowhere.

Did you know Messi has scored more goals than Harry Kane this season ... Pretty impressive.

It's somewhat off topic but i've no doubt Messi would be an outstanding PL player, Ronaldo already has been and holds the records to prove it.

The quality of strikers in the Prem is pretty woeful and if either of these two played for a top six team you'd see some serious numbers being hit.

They score individually more than a third of the total teams in the Prem, that's one player outscoring a whole team and to say it's in la Liga is short sighted as they do it in the Champions League which is a higher level than the World Cup.

He's back on top for me again. His form of late has been superb, Amazingly coinciding with number two throwing loads of hissy fits.... Messi number 1

yes

He was unplayable last night, the city defenders looked genuinely frightened last night.
