What Barcelona need is a training session with Courtney Lawes to understand when it is ok to go down and stay down, absolutely embarrassing watching them roll around or go down under the faintest of touches.

Yes the premier league does it, but nowhere near the level they have, considering their abilities it is even worse.

What's the score? I managed to miss all the PL news as I have been out all afternoon, so I don't want to go on BBC to check as this is the first time in years I can watch MOTD without knowing what I am about to see smile

Second goal was just sublime.

First goal you have to question Neuer there.

2 goals, 1 assist against Bayern - still the best in my eyes.

Yeah except Boateng was awful for the first and second goals, even Balotelli could have chipped it in. And if hes the best ever why isnt he the best ever internationally? Still no World Cup wins.

I'm still in the camp that to go down as the greatest ever he's got to do it on the international stage as well.

Have times not changed though? As much as I wish it still was, it feels like the World Cup is no longer the pinnacle of football.

Winning the Champions League is seemingly the benchmark of success in football now.

Which to my mind, if he's the greatest ever, he should be able to walk it in international football. At Barca he's in the top 1-3 teams in World football and always has been. For me, to stand out as the greatest he should be elevating teams to another level not capable without him. Take him out of that Barca team and would they be much/any worse off?

Well they would have scraped a one nil last night against a team missing their two best players vs winning three nil, oh and he set up the Neymar goal too, so potentially they would have drawn last night vs 3 nill thanks to him.

He'd have banked me £800 off a free bet if he got a hat trick last night. He's garbage.

Do they play with 10 men rather than play another one of their players in your version?

Balotelli would never get in the position to score the chip in the first place, that's the difference.

That's a whole lot of comics.

Why on earth would Messi want to come to play in this country; he'd probably end up living in a horrible city, play in a pretty mediocre division and be ripped apart by the media. Stay where you are son.

He has nothing to prove coming over here, the state of our clubs in Europe shows that.
