Blaming the keeper for the first one is very harsh on the keeper imo. Messi hit it hard and was most likely past Neuer before he even tried to move. The second goal, loved it. I actually stood up at home when he did it smile Superb.

Wasn't bad was it. smile

I will say though, the more Spanish football I see the more laughable the standard of defending seems to be outside of the top 3 teams.

Looking forward to this game tonight.
Certain players freeze on big stage matches, others thrive.

The front 3 will take some stopping.
Can't remember ever seeing a strike force like that before.

The Real Madrid team of the early 00's. Ronaldo, Raul, Figo, Zidane. They were something special to watch also.

Why did he get off with it is the question I would like answered (although I daresay I can guess....)

Ridiculous reaction (not condoning what the other player said or did here either) - should have seen red.

Hard to argue with it really.

He had another belter of a year in 2015, the stats are remarkable.

It's been covered before but - great player (and amazing stats) notwithstanding - it's been achieved at one of the world's biggest Club's, under world class managers surrounded by world class players.

It won't happen but it would be good to see him somewhere else now, PL, Serie A etc; plus he's still got to win the World Club - although I'd rather that didn't happen.

I was pleased that I've seen him play twice, even more so that once was at the Boleyn!

With the shoddy state of the premier league, I don't think he needs to go there to prove anything.
