Barcelona are a good team, but they are terrible for hitting the floor at every possible opportunity. It's clever, as it encourages players to avoid close contact. Then their incredible technical skill is allowed space to breath, and we all know the results.
It's controversial of me to say it, but I doubt Barcelona as they are now would find it very easy at all to win the physical slog of the Premier League, where the protection by referees is far less.

Poor little Drogba gets pole-axed constantly and is still alive to tell the tale Thought Milan handled Barca quite well defensively tonight but this result suits the latter as next week should see a home win.

Considering that defensively there was no Thiago Silva and Abate, i'd say quite is an understatement. Also Van Bommel, Inzaghi, Pato, Cassano, Flamini, Aquilani were out, makes you realise what an effort it was.

Even with Milan's incredible work rate, Barcelona still opened them up more than once or twice, what a side they are. Although, Milan should have scored twice imo, Robinho had a bit of a mare all night, particularly with the sitter in front of Casillas. Taking hin off was a kindness in the end.

I don't disagree and it's a shame for Milan that their attackers couldn't be a bit more clinical as they could have taken 2-0 to the Nou Camp next week. Still can't see any other result though at the end of it.

I'm genuinely looking forward to this game tonight. It's a privilege watching the way Barca play. The Chavs...not so much.

Eighth hat-trick! I wonder what the record is for most in a season? Must be close or broken that particular one.

I'm watching the game. Great little chip over the goalkeeper for his third.

Haha I watched him score an hat trick on Wednesday, even though he didn't play that well at all. 4 tonight. Again 2 penaltys.
