Bin Laden, Jobs, Gadaffi & Houston. All died the day after Aaron Ramsey scored. And when he broke his leg Chile got an 8.8 earthquake.
Cor, what a stat if true!

ETA: Not true entirely, correct for Bin Laden, Ramsey scored 3 days before Jobs, correct for Gaddafi, and on the day of Houston, also on same day as Chile's quake. Close though! wink

Pay his wages too and that sounds like a good deal scratchchin

In all seriousness, this pint-sized Russian with a smoothly waxed butt will remain a small segment of Utd folklore for banging 4 goals at Anfield. Top stuff clap

We were about to buy him but pulled out at the last minute due to the price-tag at the time which I believe was £16.5m

After his first few games I was regretting Levy's decision not to buy him but it seems that now you'd rather we had bought him hehe

This may be true but I certainly don't want you to sign Hazard yikes

Are the rumours on your thread to be believed? I hope not frown

Hopefully. Just French media reports from what I can see. Plenty of time for him to start to thinking logically until the next transfer window

Champions League or not he won't be at WHL.....even with CL qualification they can't afford him. Sadly unless Wenger gets a proper budget neither can Arsenal.

I beg to differ. They can afford him but they wont bust their pay structure to get him. It was only a season ago Levy was trawling Europe with £30m in his pocket trying to pick up a last minute xfer window purchase.

The self-imposed wage ceiling is the problem, not the fee, and I'm sure he could release the handbrake on that a little if he so desired.

I reckon he'll end up at Chelsea when Maureen goes back in the summer, Mata and Hazard, not a bad pair to have on your wings...

It was the wage structure I was talking about to be honest.....didn't communcaite that clearly though! Arsenal had it with Mata last summer....got blown out of the water by Chelsea's wage structure and the rumoured £7mil signing on fee........
