Be even more of a fillip for you if it were either...
1. True or
2. Said by someone credible
Blimey, you are touchy today. 1. True or
2. Said by someone credible
All I said is that I had my breath held. I wasn't quoting anyone or saying I believed a word of it. I am hoping but won't believe any signings until they're confirmed.
Nice not to be sweating about losing our talisman for a change though. Unlike you.....

Unreal H, you come on here with all you're feeble WUM attempts then moan when you get a couple back
U wot m8?All I've stated is the Goons are gonna spend big going forward. Therefore the gap to your lot will grow. It's hardly my fault you lot can't take some facts.

The egg from when I argued that Arsenal would be spending big this summer. Oh no you said. They always say that you said.
Suck it up.
Suck what up? Has Higuain arrived and I've missed it?Suck it up.
Even if he does I'll 'suck it up' when you suck up "Maureen's going to United, end of".
My comments re: Arsenal spending big from now on, as Gazidis stated in his interview the other week are not just limited to Higuain. It's this summer, January, next year, etc and into the future.
Arsenal now have big spending power because they've sucked up their stadium costs for the past decade and are now ready to reap the rewards with new advertising/sponsor deals coming onstream. My point stands that their minnow neighbour Spuddies are a decade (at least) behind the Goons. And I say at least, because they at least managed CL revenue every year - an idea which is pie in the sky fantasyland at Spud-u-like Towers.
Suck. It. Up.
You're shouting about something that hasn't actually happened
What definitely hasn't happened yet is Spurs new stadium or even the financing for it.
Arsenal have just been through a transformational (and extremely painful for the fans) period .....at the very best Spurs are just about to enter the same. Arsenal were lucky that they started to go through that process before Chelsea and Man City became the play things of Oligarchs and Oil Money. In the last five years the bar has been raised massively just to stay competitive which has been reflected in Arsenal scraping CL qualification at best. Spurs are about to enter that process at a much, much worse time that Arsenal did.
Spurs will do really, really well to maintain status quo...Arsenal didn't but there's every chance they can now push on. Hard to see Spurs doing the same in the short term...very hard.

Always nice to hear from an insider from the finance department of THFC...got any other info...?The design for the stadium has been passed from KSS (who've designed it) to Populus (another global design team) to give their opinion and recommendations.
Anyone who's been watching Levy operate will know that Levy will most definitely NOT announce anything until all of the i's are dotted and t's crossed - he's about as prudent as a chairman can be.
Previous experience of Levy's modus-operandi points towards the first time we'll all know about it being when EVERYTHING is in place to move forward and at the moment, with the design not even being settled and hence all of the planning permissions not being granted, thats not now.

I am guessing the numbers don't add up on the original design as getting a new architect/designer in won't be cheap. It's either too expensive to build or they can't fit enough seats in I suppose. I thought they'd started demolition of some of the buildings around there ? From what I have read they already had planning permission ?
All sounds like it's a bit of a 'mare like Liverpool's new stadium.
From an Arsenal fan's perspective that's all good though. Every year longer will mean it's harder for Spurs to catch up financially and it won't be getting any cheaper.I guess that's why they got very upset about the Olympic Stadium, that will have cost Spurs a huge amount of money.

Word is that Levy is looking for a partial redesign to allow for a 'safe standing' area like they have in Germany should it ever come to pass in this country...and the pressure is growing on that score.
So thats 2 things our stadium will have that yours wont...Atmosphere and Foresight.
