Decent signing, dragged on a bit due to villas valuation of him and add ons, hopefully BR can get the lads career back on track up here, one or two more expected to arrive in the next few days also. Would like to see a creative midfielder come in and possibly a gk to challenge Gordon.
Hearts manager making a complete bellend of himself
Robbie Neilson said:
Robbie Neilson was 'surprised' to see Celtic new Bhoy Scott Sinclair pitched straight into action – after Hearts failed to have Polish defender Krystian Nowak registered in time.
The Tynecastle club wanted to process SFA red tape in time to field Novak in the 2-1 defeat to the champions.
Admitting a red-tape error cost him, however, Neilson revealed: 'We were told the SFA shuts at 5pm on a Friday – obviously, it doesn't.
'So I was surprised a little bit to see Sinclair's name on the teamsheet but again, what are the rules? Is it as it goes along?
'Apparently if someone turns up at the SFA on a Saturday they can out it through. But we didn't know that. We know now.
'So the next time we get a player we'll get him registered on a Saturday morning. But, hey, he's (Sinclair) come on, he's a £4million player and he did really well.
'That's the level we're against, they play a £4million player and we play Sam Nicholson and Jamie Walker.
'And to be honest they probably did more in the game and are better prospects for Scottish football.'
Neilson claims he didn't see the Jamie Walker penalty incident which infuriated Celtic – and insisted his team should have had a second spot kick when Kolo Toure charged towards sub Robbie Muirhead in the second half.
'I haven't seen the penalty back yet but people are saying there was 'light' contact, shall we say.
'But if you look at Muirhead's one in the second half I thought it was a penalty. I think Toure goes in and there is definitely contact that makes Robbie slip.
'It's that inconsistency that annoys you sometimes. If it's a penalty it's a penalty.
'If he gives one in the first half it shouldn't influence him at all. The referee is there to make a decision on what happens so I don't think that should influence him.
'I just think it wasn't the correct decision.
'As for their first goal I don't know the rules nowadays, are you interfering with play? I don't know.
'The referee made his decision and we were disappointed because at that point of the game we were playing well and creating loads of chances. But we managed to recover from it well.'

It's strange to be taking part in high profile, highly paid friendlies, then putting out the second team.
How attractive does that look to people spending money to fund and watch a friendly?
TBF the previous 2 games the A Team where played, there's the small matter of CL qualifying coming upHow attractive does that look to people spending money to fund and watch a friendly?
Another 3 points in the bag today, bit surprised the gaffer never rested a few but momentum and all that, midfield and up top we look ace, still have a tendency to switch off at the back though when cruising, The gaffer will sort that out by Tuesday, really looking forward to it, won't be easy but I'm sure we will score over there so should be fine. I'm hearing there's a signing in the pipeline but won't be mentioning any names just yet. HH
