ell it certainly wasn't our fault your lot hung effigies in Rangers scarves off your stand the day after one of our top goalscorers brothers hanged himself. That's a special sort of classy.

Best fans in the world though.
It was nothing to do with Boyd's brother. It was nothing to do with suicide either.

As I said Rangers fans have done very similar and see no issue. When the is happens on the other side not only are the fans kicking off, Rangers are playing the victims again and running to the media.

It's utterly pathetic.

Welcome to the Celtic thread again. The one you never ever post in......laugh for the 20th time.

It was their own fans that shafted themselves for the toilets. They all took photos and videos and posted them on social media. If they hadn't been as stupid then they wouldn't have found themselves over the news for doing it.

It happens at both grounds and Celtic knew not to st on themselves by attacking Rangers fans for doing it. You just end up looking stupid.

A lot of things go on that pass the level of acceptability. I only wish the comedian that writes the Rangers statement had some common sense.

The only reason they wrote that statement, and the Hibs statement, was because they were pumped. Sore fking losers that are trying to deflect from the pressure mounting on the crook running the club.

I can't believe they keep putting out these foolish statements and pretend they do no wrong. It appears to work too.

Just coincidence then...

The only time I post here is when the Celtic thread is talking (ste) about Rangers.

Good luck tomorrow.

It's usually when you can have a dig at Celtic, but we'll not go over that again.

Nobody is talking ste about Rangers,we are talking about the stupid statement they've put out attacking Celtic fans and playing the offended innocent victims again.

You're the guy that has previously stated a few times you enjoy the vile songs and wind ups. I've lost count of how many times it appears to upset you.

You keep posting that nobody likes your team and you don't care, but you're always upset, defensive and offended.

We know what goes on at these games, we know both sets of fans play their own parts. So why so shocked and offended?

I've just read the conspiracy threads about the Poznan being carried out just before the 66th minute. That is beyond frightening and paranoia in the absolute extreme.

Only a few minutes before Sinclair had just scored the third goal to kill the game, immediately followed by the Senderos flashpoint, then Roberts coming on.

The game then slowed down as the ball went out of play behind the goals where the Green Brigade were standing. Cameras in their direction and a lull in the game they started the Poznan at what seemed like a very obvious time.

However somehow lots of people have extracted that it was a pre-planned to do that on the 66th minute.

That dillusional paranoia just isn't funny. They are just looking for reasons to be offended and throw more mud.

I've read many stupid football threads over the years, but this really wins hands down.

6 months between posts just to gloat. laugh 4 posts in a year and 3 are about Celtic.

It was an absolute roasting. Nobody can handle Barcelona when they ping the ball about like that. The way they stop teams even getting out of their own half is really impressive.

To get a result it takes massive luck and everyone knows that. You can't concede after 3 minutes, everyone needs to be on top form, you need luck and you need to score with every sniff. Certainly can't miss penalties.

Game plan out the window right away and given a football lesson. Celtic are far from the only ones to face the very same.

De Vries looks a terrible keeper. A good keeper would have saved a few of them tonight. The defence was all over the place too.

Genuine question....at which point would you be bothered? 9-0? 12-0? 15-0?

There has to be a point where you think "ffs, I know they're miles better/richer than us but even so, that's a disgrace and heads should roll"?

Personally, for me it's 7-0.

7-0 can happen, 8-0 would be the rubicon.

Barcelona are arguably the top team in The Champions League and Celtic are probably the worst. Did you see them in qualification? ! They could have been totally humiliated in Barcelona hehe

Barcelona have already stuck 6 past Real Betis this season.

Looking back last season 12 times they have scored 5 or more goals including 8-0 against Deportivo, 7-0 against Valencia and 6-1 against Roma in the Champions league.

How many times in recent years have those teams gained results off other good team on Europe? Some quality teams have taken a right thrashing.

Barcelona, Real and Bayern are on another level to the rest of the teams in Europe. Even the top English teams need things to fall in their favour to get any result against those teams. If things don't fall in their favour the top English teams could end up getting thrashed too.

The advantage English teams always have is the seeding system. Going into pots as top seeds they miss out in the top teams in the group stages. How many times do their teams get the easiest of draws?

Man City have ended up in pot 2 a few times over the years and struggle having a top seed in the group. I fully expect Barcelona to take 6 points off them and wouldn't be surprised if it was very comfortable in Barcelona.

I only watched the highlights of the Arsenal game last night, but on another night they'd have been 4 goals down if PSG had a decent striker. 4-0 heads down could have got worse.

Football is a funny game. When it goes wrong it can really go wrong.

We're not in it. Because we were crap last season so quite rightly didn't qualify. HTH.
Any chance of answering my reasonable question?

Here's my take on it. If it was over 2 legs and you go 3 or 4-0 down, and you’re chasing that elusive away goal that might give you some hope in the return leg, then that’s some excuse. But in a group game its points only. At 3-0 the game has gone, so have some fking pride. Just shut up shop, get 11 behind the ball and don’t be utterly humiliated. This isn’t Pep or Mourinho genius management talking here. It’s fking obvious. School B team stuff.

The biggest embarrassment is the manager saying he isn’t embarrassed.

IMHO.

I think we all gathered that your post is not from a "genius"! biggrin
Only an idiot manager would come out publicly and say his team were embarrassing but you had one last year who thought he was bigger than the players and that worked out well for him and the club who had 5 chances to qualify for the CL and failed miserably!
Anyhow why are you so concerned about it?
