It’s the Norwegian champions in the next round, I read somewhere that winning this Cup can net £10m so well worth winning imo.
They beat roma 6-1 and then drew away to them. Itll be a tough draw, but there season ends now and they don't play a competitive match until March some time. That should give us the edge to comfortably win this game imo.

Another joke performance by a ref.

Starfelt booked for having the audacity to bleed aggressively after getting elbowed to the coupon.
The ref couldn't wait to send him off for the very soft second yellow.

It was a flat game. County started well and then it looked like a formality.

Another example of how Celtic can't defend set pieces. Another basic and avoidable goal scored.

County packed the defence and looked on for a draw. That's one of those results that lifts a team.

Players are needed back fast. There wasn't the luxury of resting Rogic with so many players missing. I hope Celtic and Hibs have players back fit for the cup final.

Fair play to Hibs, they made a game of it, but Kyogo made the difference. He did very little all game, then boom!

Deserved win overall, but Hibs did come into it and made the second half exciting.

Another goal against Celtic from a corner. Another free headed that could be seen a mile away. It's so basic.

The referee was awful again. Set the standard by not yellow carding Stevenson after 2 minutes and let things go. Then first Celtic challenge and the yellows started. I did think Craigen and Stewart were spending too much time trying to find fault with Beaton. They were making an effort to highlight his mistakes and inconsistency.

Why are they saying the foul leading to Celtic's second goal was soft. It's a foul 99/100.

A lot of focus on Starfelt's push, but only a couple of them pointing out the push on Taylor was in the same category.

How bad was Starfelt today? He was a shambles. Missed two glaring free headers and was shocking in defence. Needlessly gave away the corner, lost his man for the Hibs' goal and made bad errors every time the ball was near him. It's not often you'll see a player play that badly.

Furuhashi. He's a bit special. Both goals were top class.

Normal service has resumed.

Kyogo is the best finisher in Scotland by a mile and the “puddle drinkers” know this and are so scared they are trying to discredit him hoping it will affect him or make the referees….. wink

Ange has in a few months won more cups than the tribute act has managed in 10 years! rofl

Paul McGinn has called out Beaton as being inept. I do agree with his comment, but he won't get away with saying that.

It is somewhat ironic he is complaining about what the ref has done, when he got away with this.

He stands on Taylor's ankle and then shoves with two hands. It's a penalty.

The chart is hilarious. That's extreme paranoia. A 9 game sample and they are seeing logic in that.

I've posted the season's figures up and asked a few questions.

Rangers' opponents are booked 83% more often than Celtic's. Celtic have given away more freekicks than they've won and that's when dominating games to a large extent.

I can't wait to hear the logic behind the figures.

Please spare us… every weekend is the same recriminations about referees, singing and conspiracies. Virtually nothing about the actual play or game, it’s all about the controversy- and it all gets boring.

I have never been one to jump on the refs and conspiracy theories. The entire point of my post was the quell a ridiculous post.

Make the conversation about football. The threads go dead until there's another reason to point score. There is rarely football chat from anyone.

Because they get lost in the blizzard of recrimination - I’m not blaming your good self, but the continuous pile ons are simply not worth it.
