Looks a step backwards and a gamble to me.
Unlike the forward thinking signing of Kenny Millar?

Probably the board kept away from "Celtic men" because of what they would have to endure from the sectarian scum that made NL life a misery.

I'm pretty baffled people in here are saying they don't want Keane or Moyes as a manager.

What does it matter? You could have Tracy from reception managing and you'd still win the league...

Style of football, Moyes plays negatively and i'm not sure about Keane's demeanour, it would have a negative effect on me if i was playing under him.

Miller is a proven success in Scotland at a higher level than the Championship and has plenty of international experience. He knows what it takes to win games and leagues with a massive club.

The new Celtic manager, however scratchchin

You are in the Scottish first division and paying someone who is 36, just had an injury plagued season in Canada 9 grand a week. And folk wonder where Rangers are spunking the money away to.

Never fancied Keane for the job and I don't know much about this new guy.

He will win the league (Hopefully), but it's how he does with other trophies where he will be judged. In that respect Lennon had a poor season.

Time will tell, I'm willing to give him a chance. can't be any worse than Mowbary

i do find Deila's appointment curious -Lennon only got the job because they couldn't find anyone else to take it and in my opinion it has to be a 'Celtic man', why else would you want it these days? Are no such men available (Owen coyle?)or does it not matter as we have no competition from the other side?
Possibly you could compare Deila to Wanyama or Hooper but then the other lot tried it with LeGuen with interesting results.

Not a great start to the season for Celtic. This is one expensive (20m+?) fixture to lose.

Totally embarrassing!

Whoever thought it was a good idea to play in Edinburgh needs sacking.

Lennon must be having a wee chuckle to himself.

Disappointing that Celtic won't manage to add to this fine statistic:

Is what I'm reading on fb true?

Aye true. Uefa rules state, playing a player who was suspended means they forfeit the match 3-0, the exact amount celtic need to go through. Uefa delegate has also stated if found guilty thats what will happen.

Bonkers!

Why was the game at Murrayfield out of interest?
