Off topic, but I don't want to start a new thread...
My uncle has been involved in football since forever. His life has largely revolved around Fulham Football Club where at one time he was Youth Development Officer. He has scouted loads of kids on behalf of many clubs...back when I was 16 and onwards two Cup Final tickets would drop through our door for my brother and I a couple of weeks before the big day each year..
Anyway, sadly he now has Parkinson's. He's a shadow of his former self, heartbreaking really.
Well, a few weeks ago, Fulham got in touch and apparently despite his condition he was treated to a day at The Cottage in the company of George Cohen (for you youngsters he was a kind of Kyle Walker ). However, the point of this post is to just mention that through most of coping with his illness my uncle has had many visitors from the football world, but one man has been there far more than any other whenever his schedule would allow, geographically. A man who's had plenty to to do other than sit with a fairly unresponsive man (at times) in a nursing home.
So from me, a big big thanks.... Tony Pulis.
Sad but nice tale Ferg , Pulis does seem a thoroughly nice chap , My uncle has been involved in football since forever. My club's owner was formerly at AFC Bournemouth as chairman, Ferg, where among other managers he employed Harry Redknapp and Tony Pulis.I saw him recently and asked him about TP. Of him, he said that if he ever wanted anyone alongside him in the trenches, Pulis would be the one but that underneath the hard exterior was a soft centre of a decent man.

Looking on the brighter side of things ,if the Chavs do sign that we Hazard , the chances are they will not be in for Modders , i really can't see Modric, Hazard & Mata in the same team , especially the way they have been playing recently with their 1-9-1 successful formation
Agreed and we won't have got Hazard so we can buy little Luka instead On a more serious and maybe positive note for you guys
14 arrests in Italy today regarding match fixing, could this open the door for a CL spot foe you guys if they get binned?
