Just applied for Chelsea away £59 a ticket!!

The Premier League are doing their best to stop young people and the working class attending games.

owned in their home country, no debt allowed, cheap tickets, allowed to stand and drink during the game. Everything that watching football should be about.
Fair points - but would you really trade the English game for theirs? (Except the ownership issue, obviously)

In a heart beat, German football is exactly how football should be on and off the pitch.

The Premier League is overhyped and is for the most part completely dull, only certain teams can ever win it and its now a rich mans plaything. Chelsea and City have ruined the integrity of it.

Working class fans are priced out and fans are now customers as football is a business here and not a sport. Who knows where the next generation of supporters are going to come from as none of them will ever be able to afford to watch games. £50 or watch it in the pub with your mates, where you can stand up and dont have to sit next to some JCL with a DSLR and replica kit, easy choice really.

in terms of entertainment I would hardly call the premier league dull ,its success is due to the fact that its actually probably the most enetertaining league, however there is a serious lack of quality ,as shown by Bilbao against us last year and dortmund last night, how chelsea won the ecl last year must rank as one of the great sporting miracles,to be outplayed in so many matches and yet triumph ,truly remarkable.

can they win the Premier League? nope
can they sell out? nope

Great club Everton, proper football ground too, so nothing against them but simply they wont win the league unless they get some oil tycoon or honk kong billionaire to financially dope them to the title.

I think they have a pretty good chance of winning it this season personally. If they can strengthen in Jan too then they have a chance!

He's awesome. 2 hat tricks in the last 2 games. 17 RM hat tricks since he joined...
How many hat-tricks has he scored in Champions League matches or against the top say, four sides in Spain though?

Or are they all against more mediocre defences than he played against when he played here? He didn't become a better player just by moving to the continent did he?

If Shawcross is the answer for England should we have him back at United?

I think a fit Smalling would be in the side before Shawcross for England.

there is no argument that can counter the magnificence of his achievement ,158 goals from 154 games ..from the wing ,poor sod being around whilst messi is here, but regardless an incredible player .
and in answer to your question he's scored against pretty much everyone ,you can't suggest the spanish league is inferior to the english league with any credibility ,why is he scoring more..he is playing for a better team and he is at his peak.

OK so he take's the penalties and free kicks et. al. but even so, that many hat tricks in the professional game against any standard of opposition is almost unheard of!

158 goals in 154 games for RM....
