Should have got a retrospective ban like Balotelli after the Spurs game. The FA do seem to make some very inconsistent decisions

Joey Barton's ban was calculated on the number of years he's been a tt since the turn of the century.

obviously I'm biased, but being sat about 20 yds away from where the incidents happened and seeing both, I cant really say what Tevez did was any different from what I see every game, dozens of times, from players on both sides. The FA seem to be of a similar opinion- and there's plenty there who would love to make an example of tevez.
However, what Barton did was unbelievable IMO.and while it is a "mans game" and "a contact sport" there's no place for Psychopaths.

I wasn't quite as close to it as you were. I estimate my distance at about 45 yards away, lol.
