The Swanseafication of LFC how can this be a good thing, I think the Agger gone rumour has legs and if so we should have a top class partner for Skrtel lined up not an old yes boy workmate of the manager. He may be good but good enough - don't think so. f k me I'm bricking it for this season, someone tell me it'll be ok.

think of it as x amount freed up to pay players who want to do well for liverpool rather than a a lump who doesnt.
i just hope the fans do give BR time to settle in and do well as i do think its going to be till mid-season at least when they start hitting their stride Quite so. Not expecting a lot this season and preparing for some poor results mentally. I'm sure things will start to look a bit better after xmas. Top 6 hopefully by the end and continual improvement. Any better than that will be a bonus. i honestly think top half. i know you may think i'm trolling etc. but looking at the strength of the top 6 of last year i cant see how liverpool can break into that top 6 season 1 post-BR city, united, arsenal, chelsea, spurs are guaranteed top 5 IMO. if newcastle play as well as last year then i'd consider them to be stronger than the current liverpool. Villa i think will show great improvement with the signings they've made though they're same as liverpool-scenario with a new manager. The only failing i can see is spurs new man not settling in or matteo's honeymoon period being over. Sunderland will be sharp-shooting for a top 7 finish One plus point for reds fans is that their neighbours i reckon will do quite bad. why moyes is still there i'll never know.

Newcastle and Spurs are no stronger than Liverpool, particularly if Modric leaves Spurs and Adebayor follows his bank account. Our back 5 is significantly better then either of theirs and not far short of those of the other three top clubs. We have, in Suarez and Gerrard, match winners and Lucas is statistically the best holding player in the PL. What will define our season is whether the new players can step up. Carroll, Cole and Downing have been match winners elsewhere but have yet to show it for us. Borini is an unknown quantity. If they turn up, then top 5 is achieveable. To suggest - as you do - that we're at the level of Villa is pretty uninformed IMO.

I think you'll be challenging for fourth/fifth place this coming season. It'll be your mob, us Spuds and Woolwich for the last ECL spot.
Or, you'll get relegated. Could go either way.

Reina Johnson-Kelly-Agger-Robinson
Lucas Shelvey-Adam Eccleston-Carroll-Pacheco
That was the team that played Rochdale at the weekend. The game only lasted 55 mins as a Rochdale player @ReeceGray_28 dislocated his ankle and fractured his tibula. (He got stuck in the turf and fell awkwardly)
Eta, stupid format

Going be a hard season I think, really hoping we don't lose Carroll or Agger, both have huge futures with us IMHO lf they stay. I suspect we will draw a lot of the early games, then pick up later in the year.

I'm split about Affelay - I think he's a serious talent for the future, but from what I've seen of him he's much like Sterling, so I wouldn't want to see us take Affelay on loan at the expense of Sterling getting game time.
