I would imagine the Hodgson scenario would be weighing on some potential managers minds for sure, its hard enough getting fans behind you, coming in after Dalglish when some of the fans didn't want him to go, having seen how the fans react if they don't like a manager, yeah proper attractive job
This is why people like Martinez are favourites, I think people like Rodgers, Paul Jewell etc look at their own situations and say thanks but no thanks

As nobody else appears to be preparing for a similar trip I'd hazard a guess thats the reason he's favourite.
