And, of course, it's the FA Cup final

nascarrules v TheJiffleKing

Please could I have your predictions for the final, with TJK to predict first as he is ahead on countback.

Manchester City v Wigan Athletic

ASAP TJK please, to give nascarrules time to predict afterwards

Good luck!
(and to Wigan)

Just to be clear, the points total for the week was for the ten games in week 36; don't forget you predicted 3 rearranged games which will have been added to your scores.

Think i've done pretty well this week. Hopefully move up a few places.
A lot of people have done really well this weekend with many into double figure points I think.
Sixteen people so far into double figures; Streetm89 leads the way with 19 so far...
Table update will follow Tuesday's games, but as I'm out Wed am, it will be Wednesday afternoon.

A bit premature, but I wouldn't mind playing again next season after missing this campaign.
Any free spaces? smile
You can run the whole thing if you like next year biggrin

That's if mickk doesn't mind - what mickk probably doesn't know is that's what the first prize is wink

So here's the table. A record points tally this week, even though 4 failed to predict and only got 1 point each.
Streetm89 top scores with 21, but there are some good scores there! No change at the top, but Mickk extends his lead, but it's close for second. At the bottom, AdztheRat has done what Wigan failed to do last night and climbed out of the relegation zone at the eleventh hour!

They think it's all over ..... it is now!

Congratulations to our winners this year, mickk in the league and TheJiffleKing in the FA Cup.

Thanks to all for taking part, I hope it was enjoyable, as well as infuriating and frustrating.

The final table looks like this:

Oops, mistake, will repost corrected later

Thanks again OD!

Now I'm not complaining but how have I finished above you? From what I can see we had the same correct scores and results?
The rules stated that if there were identical records, it went alphabetically.
Changing my name to aardvark next year.... smile

"In the event of 2 or more players having the same points totals the league table positions will be sorted alphabetically from week to week. In the final standings positions will be determined firstly by the amount of correct results predicted and second by the amount of correct scorelines predicted. If it’s still equal, alphabetical order will be used."

Sorry yes, rushing to get it done.... will need a to re-check. Busy next 2 days so may be some wait. Doesn't affect mickk's position, though

Well here is the corrected table, one minor error in data entry caused an almighty cock-up in the weekly scores (I blame mickk for using dashes in his predictions this week). Or maybe you should get someone more efficient to run the predictathon next year, as the current chap makes too many mistakes....?

No change at the top, so congratulations again to mickk, and thanks to all who took part.

Cheers to all!

That's very much down to the organiser..... I think last year we gave first refusal to those who had taken part the previous time, and then filled any spare spaces with new people

When you look at the teams supported, you can really see differences (this season) in terms of predicting....

Arsenal/Man Utd - Not really very good at predicting, too busy focused on real football
Spuds - far too focused on the internet and predicting, probably a bunch of accountants
Liverpool - good try... but a bit Andy Carroll
West Brom - punching above their weight

Any others?
Southampton ....Europa League?? You're 'avin a laugh!
