Gashead here. (Bristol Rovers)

I'm feeling slightly annoyed after the events at Wycombe at the weekend. We were 3-1 up when some over officious H&E officer decided to abandon the game part way through the second half because lightening allegedly struck the stand the Rovers fans were in. It might sound like sour grapes but I'm pretty sure it would of been a different outcome if the scoreline was the other way around.

I guess we'll have to accept the decision and get up there and kick their backsides a second time.

Any WWFC fans on here like to air their views?
Another Gas checking in. Terrible decision at Wycombe. Looking forward to the weekend game away at Exeter, fingers crossed we get this season going.

Up the Gas!

Off to Tranmere Saturday, I'm a Liverpool fan who goes but Trannys great form has tempted me. So I call the ticket office ask for the best they have and for £74 two of us get a nice feed in tne vice presidents suite, parking spec and decent sets near halfway.
I live in Prenton, people actually park outside my house to go the game but it's bloody hard uphill on me way back hence the car park.
If they got promoted it would be marvellous having championship football on my doorstep - come on you superwhite army.

It's nice to see the locals starting to take notice of us again. Our last home attendance was about 5000. I think that has always been our main issue- having Liverpool and everton on our doorstep!

I live 200 miles away so tend to go to more away games then home, but I do love a trip up to prenton park.

Unless their are some strange results today then we will still be top of the league tonight smile

Stevenage definitely missed a good chance to close the gap to Tranmere.

After going a goal down (again!), we get ourselves in a winning position and dominating at home against bottom of the league Bury.

Then we go defensive and bottle it and were perhaps lucky not to lose.

Very disappointing. Although we're flying and unbeaten, the home games have been such a disappointment. Tehre'#s so much more potential in our squad than what we're showing.

Another loss - 1 point so far from home games.
David James in goal - WTF?
Fan protests left, right and centre. frown

Quietly pleased the Plymouth's result at the weekend. A bit of sublime football saved a point for Southend. Made doubly better by the Gas showing Exeter how to play football biggrin

Great result at Exeter for the Gas Saturday, next, Cheltenham Wednesday night at our gaff.

Not quite as good as last Boxing Day, that was a great day out! Crap pubs round your ground though, no away fans permitted.

Also, loads of plod travelling with your fans on the train Saturday evening. Me and son in our green shirts felt a bit out numbered!!

Just what is going on at Bournemouth? Are your fans pissed off because you're overspending or because you're under achieving with the overspending?

I wouldn't be too happy if my club were chucking around the money you guys are. It will only end in tears.

Yep very pleased with that draw. Could have won but didn't deserve to, thought a draw was the right result. Not bad for bottom of the table. Glad we have Kevin Blackwell on board let's see what he can do for us ;-)

Yea, apologies for that, we do have a reputation, so plod follows us around a bit. Deep down, we're actually quite a friendly club.

PS. when you next visit, try the Wellington on Horfield Common. Very, very rarely turn away travelling fans.

Tranmere were terrible first half and average second half, won't be going again in a hurry unless it was a blip.

It's the poor start we've made after the spending. After so many years in administration or with no money, we are now worse after spending all that money over the summer. Matt Tubbs is out of favour and seems destined for a loan spell and Paul Groves has never been a popular choice for manager. He seems to dragging us down to the level he took Grimsby to...

Crawley seem to be playing a little better after our defeats at home to Portsmouth and Tranmere. We played well against Swansea narrowly losing 2-3 in the Cup and had a good away win at Carlisle at the weekend. Am looking forward to watching tonights game against the Cherries and hoping Tubbsy makes a return to the Broadfield! Should be fun.

I'd even pay his moving costs. He's not popular at HP.

Oh God - not looking forward to this. You can have him back to be honest, he seems to be out of favour for whatever reason, despite the amount we paid for him.

I think tonight will be the start of Stevenage's drop to mid table.

We have had a nice set of fixtures to start and done ok.

Away to Notts County tonight could be what sets our expectations.

But I believe it will be a fairly commanding win for County. We have some good players but the manager has little to no interest in attacking teams away from home and we have been lucky. Luck can only help you so much though.

We face a team tonight that at one point, didn't look like they would be able to fulfil the fixture!! Full credit to Michael Appleton and I wouldn't wish his job on my worst enemy but can't help feeling that they might still be living beyond their means with the likes of Rodgers, McLeod and now Buszaky in their squad.
