May I be the first to congratulate Wycombe on their result and on reaching Wembley?

Hearty commiserations to Plycensoredth. hehe
I'll take your commiserations, thanks. But we didn't deserve them. We were truly shocking in most of both legs. Except for the last ten minutes of the first leg at Home Park.

Bristol Rovers are back where we belong.

Portsmouth and Plymouth are going to be so much better than Woking and Welling.

Well done Gas!
Plymouth, Newport County, Yeovil Town, Exeter City and the Gas will make for a mini-SW league next season. It's taking on a very Southern based look.

Can't wait to visit Home park again, had some epic days out down there. Exeter is another one to look forward to, we always pack that one out.

Love the Dons fans singing to Franchise Utd - "Who were you, when you were us?" or "Who did you support before?"

Meanwhile Home Park (although my home stadium) is a fantastic ground for atmosphere.

Childhood hero taking over at Stevenage, welcome Super Ted!

Very odd appointment though. He doesn't seem to know much about the club. Massive gamble from the chairman to drum up local interest in the team. Looking forward to seeing how it pans out.

About time this has a bump for League 1 and 2ers.

Colchester's usual tardy start with 2nd bottom a week ago seems to be behind us.

2 wins and now we're 12th,inside the top half.

Beat top side Gillingham today, saved a penalty too.

Keep it up chaps.

So lower league people, now things are starting to settle a bit, what are everyones hopes for the season ahead?

I follow Shrewsbury and after a bit of a dodgy start in league 1 (particularly at home), we finally seem to be playing a bit better. Initial hopes are just to stay in league 1. If we start playing the attractive football of last season, may be a mid table finish is on the cards. Long way to go yet though.

Burton who went up with us are flying at the moment and top the table. bds grumpy

Stevenage - Teddy Sheringham appointment was always going to be a gamble.
Chairman also wants to see some of his investment in the youth system given a chance which Westley wouldn't have done.
The youth kids look very promising.
Steven Schumacher signed from Fleetwood and probably as our highest earner looks a shadow of what he did when I saw him for Bury.
Sheringham, despite having the most promising kid I've seen since George Boyd, isn't giving him any game time as he is set on an awful 4222 formation with 2 defensive mid who don't join attacks leaving a massive hole in the middle.
When we've played a solid 442 due to injury, we've won.
Saturday away to Cambridge was a disgrace and hopefully he isn't stubborn enough to stick with it.

...and I've misplaced my season ticket :/

Blackpool fan here. Exactly where I expected us to be , at the bottom of the table.

Only been to 1 home game since before last Christmas, and will not return/spend any more money at Bloomfield Rd till the Oyston family f**k off. I might take in a couple of the local away games as long as they have pay on the gate, don't want to have to buy a ticket in advance via BFC as they get to keep a small % of the ticket value.

I'll probably also take in a few AFC Fylde games to get my football fix of the season.

Yeovil fan here. boxedin

Dreadful start to the season injuries wise. Had eleven players out for a recent game, leaving us with 3 or 4 subs each game. In forty plus years of watching them, can never remember a crisis like this. It's a wonder we aren't ten points adrift at the bottom. Many of them have been to key players that would have been first XI players were they fit.

They're starting to come back now though, hopefully one or two might be available for tonight's trip to Accrington. I'm off to Carlisle at the end of October, hotel booked and all. I've done Carlisle a few times but the kids want to come just so that they can say they have been.
