Clevedon. Wrong side of the river for a Gashead. Still a Downend boy at heart.

Ah, right. I'm from Yeovil originally but now in Oldland Common. Pass Downend most days on the ring road... driving

BBC Football Focus is being broadcast from Wealdstone FC,all the wolves gathering hoping for another

humiliating defeat for a league club.

Mention was made of a Colchester win over them in the past.

We have Forest Green today. Based on our current form, we'll easily walk it, and are putting a full team out.

But this is Forest Green and is the cup, so odds on we'll lose eek

Some interesting first halfs for some here.

Thanks for mentioning Colchester's "worst defence in the league" by Jason Mohammed.

Can't wait for the drubbing by non league opposition....rolleyes
We got Forest Green at home. So that will be us out then paperbag
Commiserations to Kinky,predicted correctly.

We were never going to keep a clean sheet with "the worst defence in the league" and went behind on 38 minutes.

Luckily we also scored 6 goals,4 from Macauley Bonne, who I've never heard of.

So far 2 Yeovil players have had enough and started on their way home already.

hehe

Couldn't argue with either red. First was a dangerous lunge, second was a DOGSO if ever I've seen one.

Chuffed to come through that. Third time in recent years that we've had multiple red cards and third time we haven't lost.

Well Stevenage ttting Gills for 3 has to be one of the performances of the round given our respective league form.

Teddy finally played the back 4 we've been calling for and we get only our second clean sheet!

Keeper was forced off injured but hopefully the rest of the squad remains unchanged for the trip to Yeovil in search of our first away win.

Lowest ranked team at home in the FA Cup please - Stourbridge would be funny, twice in the past they've made round 2 and twice been knocked out by us.

Away to Yeovil then smile

As for us, it was pretty much as I expected. Fortunately I was not there; a rare event (for home games), as it clashed with a late KO for my lad playing in our league cup. All ready to play and the ref pulls the plug as the pitch is too waterlogged.

Good luck to those of you left in the cup smile

Stevenage at home for us, dress rehearsal this coming Saturday.

You want to do a Q & A for our programme, Boydie? There's a free copy in it for you.

On news of the draw I think I'll be postponing the trip down we were planning on Saturday and instead make the trip for the cup game. Never been to the Huish despite it being a decent hunting ground for us since we've got into the league.

Would do but my views of the club definitely don't seem to mirror the majority who still have their knickers in a twist about releasing Westley and looking to go in a new direction with a celeb manager which I don't have an issue with.

Okay, no problems, your shout. If you are no fan of Westley, your views would be welcomed by YTFC fans if not your own supporters. He is absolutely despised by Glovers everywhere.

I've heard quite a few comments from various supporters that we (Plymouth) were second best when playing them, and they wuz robbed! Long may we remain second best and spawny.
Let's hope we can carry it on as long as possible; watching Reid towards the end of last season, he looked tired, so hopefully Jervis and the likes can keep helping him out.

He undoubtedly worked miracles with us in his second spell and put together one hell of a team which I have no doubt would have achieved 3 back to back promotions had he stayed rather than jumping at the first opportunity he was offered before coming back with his tail between his legs and leading us to a miserable relegation which many fans have simply ignored as "it wasn't his team" - that team still achieved lower mid table in League 1 the year before which wasn't deemed good enough and got that manager sacked.
I don't doubt he'd have eventually had us back in League 1 - probably would have gone up this season - but the fear would have been there that he'd stitch us up again at the first sign of interest from elsewhere.
I'm sure Teddy will leave us if he is approached for a bigger job but he needs to be successful with us first and we have promoted from within to get our very successful youth coach working with the first team who I hope will take over if/when Teddy is approached.
Still, a long time ahead until we see if that all happens but I like that the club have made the brave decision and if we can start repeating Saturday's performance, crowd numbers will go up which is the main goal of the current board.
