Coming through the Japanese thing was more of a success than you've had on or off the pitch. Exeter are just a poor team with very little about them. No-one will miss them when they drop, and there isnt the ambition to claw their way out of the clag.
Bless, it's actually quite sweet that you genuinely believe you're sleeping giant ready to take your rightful place in the Premiership. Have you got your space picked out along Union Street yet for your open topped bus parade?Antony Moxey said:

Dockyard Derby tomorrow. Where all our Pompey fans? Should be a decent test for both teams.
Hello Tyre Smoke; I was working so I'm relying on local radio reports. Sounds like a good game, good attendance too.Opinion here seems to be that Pompey were much the better side in the second half, also denied a clear penalty in the first half (but, I've not seen it).
Still, we'd have taken a draw in advance - you guys are on a fantastic run.
If we can just cut out silly errors against the likes of Morecambe and Blackpool, we should be up there come next May - as will Argyle I think.
These two clubs are too big for League 2 - but no divine right to promotion, I get that.
Coming away from the game on Saturday, I felt it was a point gained for sure.
Two clear penalty shouts, one for each side, so I guess that cancels them out. It was quite funny that your fans decided at 1-2 at 86 minutes, a pitch invasion was necessary, this being a club that has won the FA Cup and been Premiership, for it all to go horribly wrong for you a couple of minutes later!!
Fantastic turnout of over 15000 for a L2 fixture, more than was at the Premiership fixture at Bournemouth!
Agree, we are on a great run at the moment, but we did exactly the same last season and choked at Wembley, so not counting any chickens just yet.
Agree with you though, we should both be up there come May. It grinds my gears a bit that clubs like Bristol Rovers, and AFC Wimbledon are a league above us, but they are there on merit after all.

I haven't posted here so far this season,so I'll summarise Colchesters season so far.
Started well,in the top 6 for a few weeks, then from September 10th to
November 22nd didn't win in any competition and were bottom of L2 for 3 days.
Then on Tuesday night someone got their finger out and we won 3-0 and today 4-0.
Do I dare dream of 3 straight wins ?.....

Sutton United v AFC Wimbledon.....round 3.
Gander Green lane is not the biggest ground, get your ticket early for a local derby.
My local derby, bit of a shame really.Gander Green lane is not the biggest ground, get your ticket early for a local derby.
Pal of mine owns the firm of the main sponsor at Sutton, at least it gives one of my local teams a chance to progress .
