Will be interesting to see how Chelsea deal with the toxic twins now that the truth is out
Indeed. not so much Ashley, who was guilty mainly of being an idiot, but will be interesting how they deal with Terry. There's a zero tolerance to racism message in the programme every fortnight and I don't suppose there would be any hesitation (rightly) in imposing a lengthy ban on any fan caught shouting what Terry is supposed to have said.
The club have to come down hard on him if their anti racism message is to have any credibility at all IMO.
Still - at least they didn't get t shirts made....

I think it is genuinely offensive to insinuate people have only supported a team since they got a rich owner.
Oh come off it! It's not remotely offensive, it's just nromal footy banter. They accuse us of being Johnny cum Lately fans and that we have no history, I accuse them of ridiculous OTT optimism (they win one a game, that means the league is theirs for the taking.)But one thing you've got to give Spuds credit for, they have a great future behind them.

And as for Spurs great future behind them, what about West Ham? We won the World Cup in 1966.
Hi chaps, I need a little help and wonder if anyone on here can assist.
I live in Australia and my son who is a Chelsea fan turns 8 in February lives in the UK. I am visiting him for his 8th birthday and for his birthday I would love to take him to Chelsea v Wigan on 9th February but am unsure what is the best way to get tickets/how to easily get tickets.
The icing on top of this is that this will be his very first proper football game and given I miss a lot being in Australia is a fairly momentous occassion for us both and a very special day for us both.
Does anyone here have any tips, any way to get get tickets etc that might be able to assist? I hope this isnt too direct a request but any information will be a great help.
Thanks.

What Gary said, but you need to know that there is a sort of tiered system for buying tickets - they go on sale first at one per member, then an extra 2 per member, then general sale. I wouldn't have thought that this will be a problem with Wigan, but you never know. Look at the Chelsea web site for the ins and outs.
The expensive way to do it, and one which is nice if someone else is paying, is to do it via a hospitality package. For the Wigan game that will be £150 a head, but you do get a decent lunch and a bit of chat from a Chelsea legend. Last time someone invited me, we had a talk from Peter Osgood and Kerry Dixon (both of whom signed my programme). I won't forget that day in a hurry. You can buy the hospitality packages now. If you phone the ticket office and say you are proposing to take an 8 year old for his Birthday, they might give you a deal. It would be worth asking: they can only say No. or Nyet.

So according to that scum newspaper (you all know who im talking about) your club are hypocrites for banning a racist fan from games but not handing Terry a harsher punishment than a 2 week fine, thats how it was explained on SSN.
I dont understand it myself, fans and players are governed to a different set of rules, your not likely to ban Terry from playing ever again are you?
I can see what the point they are getting at, a 2 week fine is hardly going to affect John in any way but what else can Chelsea do? If they fine him a huge amount they risk upsetting him, fine him too little and they will be criticised.
On Neymar, didnt Barcelona already start paying down payments on his transfer in/before the summer?
