The best possible draw for you guys. All things being equal you should just edge the tie over the 2 legs.
Hopefully, IF we win that will be 3 european titles in 3 years! Thats pretty impressive.

Certainly possible. There's nothing between the 4 of you. Well, Chelsea are probably the weakest 11 on paper but you have Mourinho...

Real Madrid v Bayern Munich

Atletico Madrid v Chelsea

that means Atletico will not be playing Cortouis whic hcan only be a good thing!
They can play him at a cost of 3m Euro's per game to Chelsea but apparently Athletico cannot afford this, seems awfully harsh on the player .

The loan system really does need sorting out
£6m and a bye into the final. Noice!

Just been on Talksport that FIFA have said we cannot prevent him playing...

UEFA said:
Regulations contain clear provisions which strictly forbid any club to exert, or attempt to exert, any influence whatsoever over the players that another club may (or may not) field in a match.

It follows that any provision in a private contract between clubs which might function in such a way as to influence who a club fields in a match is null, void and unenforceable so far as UEFA is concerned.

Furthermore, any attempt to enforce such a provision would be a clear violation of both the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations and would therefore be sanctioned accordingly.
Just re-quoting this as most seem to have missed it. Cortouis will be playing at no cost to anyone.

Now where are the lawyers when you need them.

Doesn't really mean anything though does it. On paper Madrid should win the ECL every single year but don't.

Apparently there is a clause in the loan deal where a fee is to be paid. Chelsea waved it the other year when they lost that silly cup thing game.

This is going to be very interesting whatever the outcome.

Ron Gourlay, CFC CEO: "It's quite simple, Thibaut can play against Chelsea. We will evaluate UEFA statement. We did not break any rules."

Liverpools win makes everything more spicy! I thought they tired a lot in the second half which might encourage JM. It was a shame Suarez didn't get sent off as he would've been banned for 3 games.

Today's game is just the kind of place that Chelsea struggle with so it'll be a good test. Fingers crossed the challenge can be maintained with a win.

Good result after a laboured performance. Ba has stepped up and has provided some physical threat up front that's been missing with Torres. Clearly the Liverpool game will be massive and will be a huge test given their scintillating form currently.

Swans fan coming in peace...

No complaints about the result just glad it wasn't a cricket score. Might be breaking the peace here but it's a shame your manager has to be such a prick sometimes - headed straight down the tunnel without shaking Monk's hand. You just best us FFS!

Diego Costa stretchered off tonight after a collision with the post.

Watching the game he seemed to be in real pain and the early signs are a fracture.

Maureen is a proper cock, and Chelsea under him seem to play some kind of terrible brand of anti-football, which is the reason why A'vich got rid of him in the first place.
