And I have a soft spot for Spuds....it's a patch of quicksand on Rainham Marshes.

I'm off to the Emirates tonight for the 2nd leg of our Youth Cup semi, 2-1 up after the first leg. £4 for adults and £2 for kids. Apparently Chelsea have sold 1200 tickets for the game, and of course Arse will have far more than that being at home, so should be a good atmosphere.

I couldn't get to the 1st leg but apparently they brought a large away support. These youth cup games are getting very popular as the price of the real thing goes thru the roof.

Just back from The Emirates, a comfortable 1-0 win on the night, putting us thru to the final 3-1 on aggregate.

PFA Player of the Year lists are out now, Hazard is on both but no Terry or Azpiliceuta on there. Sadly to be excpected with the Scouse media darlings at the top of the table, the nomination list might look a bit silly if Liverpool choke from here on in though.

Really don't think either are contenders for best player in the PL over the whole season!

Terry has had pretty decent season , he's played an awful lot of games

I wouldn't argue with Gerrard winning it though.

It's just bound to be a Liverpool player though isn't it,

Do you seriously think that the media influences the PFA awards vote?

Really? Terry's been an absolute rock in the centre of the best defence in the league, and Azpi has played out of his skin out of position.

Neither have set the PL alight. Both have had decent seasons, but there are a couple of dozen of players who have had "decent" seasons.

For me there are very few who have had exceptional seasons - Suarez, Silva, Toure, Gerrard, Lalana and Hazard maybe.

I can't see past Suarez....only player close if Toure for me.

I'd say Silva's been as good as a few on that list too.

Unfortunately I can't see past him being a cheaty, divey, bitey .

He'll probably win it though.

And so he should. He's been the stand out player in the PL this season, regardless of him being a horrible little scumbag.

I read somewhere the thing that has motivated him this season is that Rogers said "he owed Liverpool" which is why they wouldn't let him leave last summer. Ergo...."I don't owe you nuffink and I'm off"

yes

Mike Dean proving once again he is a terrible official by missing the incident from all of three yards away.

Standards of officiating are getting worse by the month.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a post game suspension for that. Referee clearly didn't see it so I expect FA action for that. Violent conduct and 3 games I reckon.
