I didn't think PSG had a transfer embargo hanging over their heads, thought it was just a cash fine?
Think they have to sell before they spend...

Who's the specialist in failure now?
stcoat? You are referring to Mourinho as stcoat? Have you seen Arsene trying to even do his sleeping bag up? I'm all for a bit of Mourinho/Chelsea bashing but fk me make it decent at least

Would make sense if Arsne hadn't of been the one to do the rejecting.
Not sure you'll find many gooners disappointed with that decision now.

Cesc who?
yes

If the Gooners had wanted him they could have had him. It's also worth noting that he was touted round all the Top 4 clubs and only Chelsea were interested

Great to see the Drog back.

I hope he is going to be at least mentoring Lukaku.
And maybe Oscar -- who has looked as though someone has been stealing his lunch money for the last 6 months or so.
Hopefully that's Lukaku's exit cue, to one of the none Oligarch clubs wink

Costa on the scoresheet again too, the lad is a monster. Hit the post at City last week, could so easily be on 100% scoring record so far - as it is he's on 1.33 goals per game with 8 already....
Apparently he only needs 12 more goals to beat Torres all time Chelsea record. Mental.

Joe Lewis doesn't bankroll Tottenham, he doesn't even go its an investment pure and simple and is therefore run as a business. Comparing him to Abromvich is ridiculous.
So you're saying that Joe Lewis runs THFC as a business whereas Abromovich runs CFC more as a football club run by a fan?
biggrin

Oh yeah, I forgot I need to list every player to ever play for United who made dirty challenges before I could mention another club's player.

My bad.

rolleyes
Nope!! You really dislike Adam as like Fellani he is a horrible player, who purposely goes to injure players in a sly/dirty manner
There's plenty of players who have given sly elbows, kicks, bites (well, not exactly sly), so why mention Fellaini? He wasn't playing, Charlie Adam was.
Cos like la, he played for the Scousers didn't he la and scousers protecht their own.....la

Some rumblings in Spain over the future of Messi. A lot of the first team are not happy with Enrique apparently and if whispers are to be believed Messi wants out.

Barca being banned from signing anyone until jan 2016 may well be a stumbling block. Intresting times lay ahead I think ... As a football fan I'd love for you or City to snap him up. Realistically it's only you two who'd be able to afford him in the Prem. Wonder what the knock on effects of FFP would be in that scenario?
Utd could also afford him and will be sponsored by Adidas soon.

However it is of course unutterable bks that he will leave, I suspect Enrique will be the one to go

He wasnt convicted. He was cleared in a court of law. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-188279...
Convicted by the FA. Chelsea fans defending Terry's racism with semantics - the irony.
TEKNOPUG said:
The club captain is a convicted racist so ut shouldn't come as too much surprise that the club still attracts the dregs of society.
You said the above, its patently false, not semantics, not a Chelsea fan.

Its only you that needs to discuss it, every other poster has agreed you are wrong.

In fact you have managed to unite Mancs, Scousers and Londoners such is your level of idiocy

SO Chelsea fans are filmed being racist but Chelsea PHers are arguing whether their Captain was actually convicted of being racist or just admitting to saying something racist and being fined and banned by the FA?

Unfortunately some of the worst elements of our support tend to come out on European away days. I've seen it in Zaragoza and Copenhagen. I don't know from under which rock they crawl because they never appear at the Bridge or English away games.
The home games probably don't hold much appeal, I doubt football in general does, the ruck is the buzz for them. For all the moaning about the gentrification of football I'm bloody glad we are shocked at one off events like this than it be the norm.

Oh Christ, not this again. Why can't a player who has taken part in the competition celebrate winning the final?
It was funny when it was JT, mainly as he is the player everyone loves to hate, so it was some good ammo

When Man U won the league 2 yrs ago, I said they were the worst team ever to win it. That's a title we might take off them this season. Just dire.
You're being too hard on your team I think. I'm a Man United fan, stumbling is what you've got to do now, it's what is required with your team not playing well.

Fabregas and Costa were stunning signings, Matic your finest I think but before this season. You easily forget the first part of the season with the latest stumbling bus football.

The team at the top deserves it.
Well said, you only need to look at the fall of Citeh to put our performance into perspective. I mean really, who saw that coming? Struggling to maintain a CL place, 7 losses, and vulnerable to just about anyone. They're lucky the Hammers have nothing to play for this afternoon.

I'd love us to play free flowing, winning, confident football for 38 games but we know that's not possible. Even Barca/Real/Bayern can't do that, and lets face it, domestically they have a much easier situation than a PL team. So grinding out a result against the form team in the league, when you are missing your top two (of three) strikers, is just as significant as outscoring Everton 3-6, and Swansea 4-2 then 0-5.

Next few games should be interesting; first another form team, away, someone we usually have something of a hoodoo over. I'd almost accept our third defeat of the season to them, but more than likely Jose will find a way - as he so often does - of getting something out of the match. Leicester will be tricky too, but as a form side playing for their PL lives I think we'll get some chances and take them. That leaves Liverpool as the only 'name' club to play us, and we may have the title more or less wrapped up by then with them chasing the final CL spot - but I hope we smash them, because I just massively dislike them and their fans who bang on about history 30 years out of date biggrin
Very good posts from CIE and Trackdemon. Sums it up well for me.
