Looked very comfortable...too many good players on the pitch.

Still makes me laugh that Arsenal fans still trying to act not bothered about Cesc.
No acting required. It strikes me Chelsea fans are desperate for a Arsenal fans to be bothered, unfortunately many of us are not.

We didn't lose the game today because we didn't have Cesc but because we were too soft in defence and in that position in front of the back four. Fabregas wouldn't improve us in that respect.

As wonderful a football as Cesc we can't sign everyone.
Weren't you of the opinion that when a world class player becomes available that will improve you, you sign them (see Ozil last year)?
Did you actually read what I wrote?

I assume that since there was a loss this week it's back to Wenger Out instead of Wenger Knows
Nothing's changed from me. I'm firmly of the belief that for Arsenal to truly compete we need change. I don't believe that under Wenger will be able to compete in matches against teams perceived to be our rivals.

Not one effort on goal laugh that must be a major worry after all the huge signings the Arse have made.
Yes and no. I believe the lack of variety in our play and the soft under belly is a greater worry than not getting a shot on target. I believe that if you get the basics right we'd improve immeasurably and be a greater threat. I'm much happier with the quality players we now have in attack than we had last year.

Wenger still looking for his first win against Mourinho biggrinlaugh . Another goal for Costa, another assist for Fabregas, easily the best signing of the summer. Hopefully Courtois is back soon, not a bad back up either though wink .

'We don't need Cesc, we have Ozil' laughlaugh

Problem is, everyone knows how to beat Arsenal now, and the top 6 or so clubs actually have the players to do it.

So Palace this weekend. I really don't like Palace, ever since valentines day 1976 when they beat us 3-2 at the Bridge in the FA Cup 5th round. Not that I'm one to hold a grudge.

Palace used to be my second club, due to an ex who was a fan, which meant a good few Saturdays at Selhurst. Mind you, they were always Championship fodder then so there weren't much in the way of conflicting fixtures. But screw them, they can lose 5-0 today for all I care now hehe We could certainly be tested today though - Schurrle, Drogba, Ramires & Mikel we can cover but it sounds like Costa may be a doubt. Probably not worth risking him with Utd next weekend if so. Time for Remy to make his mark!

So was I. I was 13. By the whitewall in the Shed. 2-0 down, back to 2-2 and then Taylor hit that sodding free kick. Jimmy Hill on MOTD looking for help identifying the Kung Fu master in the Northstand.

Thibaut Courtois, Ivanovic, Gary Cahill, Terry (c), Cesar Azpilicueta; Matic, Cesc Fàbregas; Willian, Oscar, Eden Hazard; Remy.

If one of those last 5 don't score I'll eat my own hat, filled with catfood.
