Tbf we should have won from what I just saw: an unusually poor penalty from Edin, and a goal by Costa chalked off to offside - it wasn't. Nonetheless we should top the group without too much effort, and hopefully we'll have a good bit left in the tank for the weekends game.

To be fair to Maribor, they gave us a decent game. We were pretty awful in the first half. Schurrle and Willian were average, and it was a relief to see them taken off. I thought Felipe Luis had a decent game, and would't have been subbed if it wasn't for us having to go three at the back to chase the game a bit. It's pretty clear to me that Drogs isn't really up to a full 90 minutes any more - Costa was like a breath of fresh air when he came on.

We're going to have to play a bit better than that at the weekend if we're to get anything against the Dippers.
