Was expecting more bookings, Costa did well to stay out of the book.

Good win. Needed it too since City have been catching up. 650th club appearance for John Terry, nice way to mark it with the opening goal.
The catching up has been one defeat, coupled with a City win, that's all - the rest has been down to the timing of the fixtures.

And a draw with city winning. We were 8 points clear IIRC.

Ah, OK you're right - I was thinking of when we were 9 points clear but they had a game in hand

Why were they booing Hazard? I nipped out and I don't recall a Stoke player ever breaking Hazard's leg to warrant the boos.

Bardsley had a good go at it last night.

Is there any news on how long he'll be out for?

No idea. Not a clue what Gary Neville's point was when reviewing the Bardsley tackle, saying "Hazard has a cheeky look up". Errrr...yes, checking he's still alive, and that his leg hasn't been severed at the hip!

I've since seen it and yeah, definitely worth booing him for that.

The Stoke fans really are from another planet. Usually clubs have a few stupid fans, theirs seem to be the majority.

They're always so charming when they visit Upton Park.

If you've ever been to Stoke, you'll know how close to the truth that is!

But lets be fair here, when they do their annual job on the goons they are amazing.

Good win. West Ham played well and never gave up, were unlucky not to get a goal. We could have had one or two more but can't complain.

3 points and another clean sheet.

5 wins in a row since the Newcastle game and gald Costa got another to help put an end to his mini drought. Disappointed to hear about Ivanovic diving though, really don't need that.

What a player Matic is. I know Hazard got the assist for Costa's goal, but Matic made the important interception to win possession back.

One of Mourinho's best signings.

What was Ivan playing at. 6'2 and 14.5 stone, Carrol brushed his arm on him and he goes down like a lead balloon. Pathetic. This is a bloke that looks like he run thru stone walls.

Good result that, really is turning into a 2nd horse race at the top although man Utd doing quite well lately would be surprised if they catch 10 points up on Chelsea though.

Yeah was disappointing to see. Ivanovic is a tank, hopefully just a one off.

Totally agree. Although Hazard got MOM, Matic must have pushed him close today.

Talking about pushing, Hazard got The Treatment again today, although he was just being bundled off the ball, rather than being kicked off it as he was at Stoke.

Great performance from Costa too. The SB crowd love him.
