How is Fibreglass still on the pitch. First tackle on Sterling was borderline red, and the grab of his shorts was a definite 2nd yellow.

Have to say I'm disappointed by Gerrard's comments after the game. Of course the fans gave you a hard time during the game, you play for the opposition and have been a thorn in our side on more than one occasion, if the oppo fans aren't giving you a hard time it's usually because you aren't very good.

He could have shown a bit of class and thanked the fans for the ovation when he came off, they certainly weren't required to do it. It was recognition of a great player facing us for probably the last time.

Did he expect solid applause and adulation from kick-off?

Well it's Stevie G innit , Surely everybody thinks he's the son of Jesus don't they ? or is that just the Liverpool fans ?

I reckon he's still bitter for not joining Chelsea when he had the chance,

Gerrards biggest regret will be not joining Chelsea when he had the chance...

Dont really care what he says to be honest, I just think of the trophy count. Anyway, does Mikel remind anyone else of Milton from Office Space? We probably stopped paying him years ago but he keeps turning up to training

He's likely to do a Winston Bogarde.

He seems like a nice down to earth bloke, so maybe no one has the heart to tell him he's not needed anymore?

Thats always the way I view it. I reckon hes part of the furniture. Never kicks up a fuss, not on massive wages. Perfect squad player really. will be sad to see him leave. I've always liked him as a player, simple football, never tries anything he cant do etc. and he's beenb at the club for 9 years!

West Brom tonight. I've read Costa is fit, and could play, but I hope Mourinho rests him, no point IMO risking him when the season is pretty much over.

Izzy Brown set to make his debut, and another game for Loftus-Cheek.
