If only when we had him he didn't expect to walk into the team ahead of Hazard, Oscar etc. Don't think we ever had an issue with his talent - his attitude (like his Belgian teammate Lukaku) stank.
I suppose my big issue is that these young stars that we buy cheap rarely get a chance with the club. Courtois and Dave are the only ones that have stuck and we see the rest excel elsewhere and sometimes end up buying them back (see Matic)

Zouma? Oscar?

hehehehe Oscar was already a Brazilian international and Zouma had played three season in League One in France. That's a very Chelsea view of developing "young stars"

Didn't Oscar pretty much go straight into the first team? He might not have started every game, but I don't remember him being in your reserves much.

Well your exact words were "no experience"....do you not count playing for the national team of the world's greatest football nation as having experience ?

A really good performance against Kiev. Very unlucky not to win. Feeling more optimistic now. Matic was great and even Hazard looked good.

I count no expirence as top flight football. Alot of non EU countries play any player they can to increase value (to get a work permit), at the time Oscar was brought ok for a decent sum, he was unknown by most if not everyone.

Yep great performance last night and unlucky not to get a result and score perhaps 3 goals. Let's hope there's no hangover on the weekend as there's a very tough game ahead.

We were refreshingly dull at the back. Wonderfully, consistently boring. Thank god.

A goal down and a man down. This will test Chelsea with the Hammers playing so well

Back to a shambles again. Sure have missed that. Still, I thought we were supposed to be the only team who crowd and influence the ref?

They have actually played a lot better than in many games recently. Fabregas was onside when he scored.

No he wasn't, he was ahead of the defenders.

Looked level to me! Still Mourhino in the stands & Mikel on for Fabregas!

Coupled with Zouma's non-goal just shows when you're down lady luck loves to give you a good kick!
