If Jose had just held his hand up & apologised & just admitted he got it wrong then this whole comical episode would have been forgotten.

I can't believe Chelsea as a club have allowed this whole thing to get so out of control. Surely they must have media / PR trained people on the books, unless of course they are just to frightened to tell jose that he's behaved like a complete tt.

Long may it continue thumbup

Was Mourinho actually there or has he just pushed Terry in front of the cameras to face the music alone?!

This is a bad call from Terry , there really is no need.

Savage has always said he had to play the way he did just to be a pro footballer,

Savage was an average player who has & let's be fair here has done extremely well for himself with his limited ability as a player & his work he does for the Beeb & BT Sports.

Terry is a grade A tt & always will be, great player mind , just a tt !

Yeah, it's fking funny though hehe

Of course Savage has a right to say what he's said. Everyone else is saying it so it doesn't make him wrong does it?! Terry is a , we all know that. Savage is an annoying bd though and this whole spat is funny as fk.

Yeah i do agree, it was a tad amusing,

I just hope JT & the loveable bunch down at SW6 will be in such a jovial mood when Robbie has he's payback when they get turned over again. Fingers crossed

Hmmm. That fixture presents me with something of a conundrum.

Savage has every right to comment on JT's performances. JT has every right to not respect Savage's opinion because Savage never played at that level.

JT would have every right to comment on the performance of someone playing in a world cup final. That person has every right to point out to JT that being English, he has never played at that level, so he doesn't respect his view.

I just don't see the problem or what harm is done to anyone.

Well it's a win but again not good enough. Full of fear in the 2nd half, and if Willian doesn't score with that free kick, we would have gone on to lose that game. As soon as we re-took the lead, we looked like we'd score again.

Ridiculous mental fragility and we'll achieve nothing until we regain some self belief. Tonight won't do that. We need to go to Stoke and thrash them 4 or 5 nil. Can't see it happening. My money is on another loss at the weekend.

A good result.
Hopefully it will keep Joke Maureen in post for long enough for Chelsea to provide continued entertainment for those of us who wish nought but ill on the Roman Empire! smile

Say what you want about Chelsea fans being glory hunters, but there aren't many others fans that would be so united in keeping their manager at the helm after the start to they've made this season.

For real? I think pretty much all would excuse his start looking at what he has done for them

THose that wouldnt would be in the minority and spend most of there time behind a keyboard or tv watching/talking about their team

You only have to look at Man Utd fans on Moyles and Van Gaal, Liverpool fans on Rodgers, lots of Arsenal fans on Wenger etc, etc. And considering most people say Chelsea fans are a whinging bunch of glory hunters, you'd expect them to be the first ones to get on a managers back, regardless of what he has achieved.

Compare what they have won their clubs recently and their recent record elsewhere to Jose -
You are way off - the minority would want him gone the majority would give him time to rectify it and to be honest he has earned that time.

Sorry, Sye, but I'm not way off. Yes, Jose has won a lot and certainly deserves time to sort it out, which is what the Chelsea fans want. So for those that always say they are just glory hunters etc have been shown up to be wrong here. The reason they didn't like Benitez was because of comments he made about the club, they were behind Di Matteo etc etc.
