Last game of the season, v Leicester. What if Leicester and Spuds are still battling for the league, and Leicester need a result to win it. Who will we support?

Think I'll be cheering on the foxes.
Easy - Leicester smile

Seriously though, respect for the Spuds will be due if they do win it (although I hope that Leicester do)
I'm afraid I can't feel happy about any team other than us winning the league.

I hear you... Except that we're not going to this year and it will minimise my disappointment if Spurs don't win it either wink

Much as I'd love to see Ranieri lift a trophy, I'm afraid I just can't get excited about Leicester winning it. Partly because I'm so annoyed about how bad we've been this season (partly tempered by how bad all the other big clubs have been this season*), partly because I'm sick of being told we have to cheer for them by all news outlets, and partly because of how the behaviour of some of their players has been conveniently forgotten

  • except Arsenal. Who are having the most Arsenal like season ever.

With regards to next season. Assuming no CL football and Conte as manager, what other changes would you like to see? Personally I think Emenalo needs to be sacked. One of the biggest reasons we're in this situation is because recruitment has been poor and seemingly left to him, who has no real experience, rather than the manager identifying players he wants in the team and then getting them. The team needs a big clearout and will be interesting to see who is left behind. I'm not confident next year is going to be much better, I doubt we will be challenging, and may hope for a top 4 finish.

Off to Villa Park today. Meaningless fixture but a day out and hopefully a game even we can win.

Decent performances all round today and pleased for Pato. Made some good runs and was involved in all of the goals. Would like to see him given a run for the last few games and the chance to earn a permanent move.

Bizarre watching a game at Villa Park where the crowd aren't rocking...especially against us!

Glad the youth got a chance and we didn't play like the season was already over, let's hope that continues.

On another note, just how awful are Villa? Not sure why but I've always had a soft spot for them, yet this must be the most pathetic campaign in PL history.

Villa very poor, and we didn't even have to play anything like special to beat them 4-0. Nice to see some fresh faces playing tho and you can only beat what's in front of you. The scary thing is that this is what can happen when an owner loses his interest in the team........ lets just hope it never happens !!!whistle

Yes, that's what I thought. More a case of Villa losing 4-0 than us winning 4-0.

I suggested to my daughter before the match that Gus using all and sundry now is to avoid a top 7 finish and the Europa League. I think we should be good against Swansea next week, but then could get a kicking from a resurgent Man City after that.

Just reading that on the Guardian website. Apparently he wants to bring Cuadrado back. Not a very auspicious start if true.

Chelsea lost, Arsenal a draw, 2 out of the big five played, both of them losing points, again....

What a season.

You were poor, but that was our best performance since Guido took over.

Montero seems to like playing your defence. smile
