Wonder if he'll make the trip to the King Power stadium in time for the photos.

This is undoubtedly the most depressing season I've ever witnessed. I grew up in the 80's when we were crap, but we knew we were crap. Now we have loads of great players who should be doing far better. As soon as I heard Ivanovic, Cahill, Mikel and Matic were in the starting lineup I knew we'd be awful. What have we got to lose by giving the youth a chance?

When you were crap before Abramovich you were real. Really crap. Sh/t ground and players.
Dirty Russian money bought success but neither class nor sportmanship.
Putin and Abramovich are thick as thieves because they are thieves.
As long as the club is Chelski, you have lost them.
Citeh sold out to the Arabs.
United got bought by the mall owners.
It is all Sh/t.

Twenty minutes of pretty tiki taka but the rest of the time it looked like we just didn't really care....especially when defending. When a man goes down you don't f**cking stop until the whistle goes!

To be fair, Costa and Matics goals were nicely finished, our (Sunderland) defence in the first half was appalling however.

Every PL club has sold out now. The Leicester Fairytale (TM) is bankrolled by Thai owners and some extremely questionable sponsorship deals to avoid FFP regulations

Bankrolled maybe, but their squad is (was?) worth peanuts in comparison to teams like Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United.

I think that is stretching things slightly. The Leicester team that beat Utd cost £23m. Half the Premier League teams have one player that costs more than that! Leicester didn't really need to be "bankrolled".

st players like Zola and Vialli do you mean?

We were finishing top four and playing CL football for a few seasons pre Abramovich, had won the FA Cup twice in 4 years just prior to Abromovic, and much of the ground redevelopment had already taken place prior to his arrival.

Hate us by all means, but at least try and base that hatred on facts and not utter fantasy.

The BBC interview with the owners son was really interesting. I know the majority with that kind of money have dodgy goings on, but he at least sounded genuinely interested and knowledgable about the whole set up, it was amusing when he was asked for the funds to buy a non league player!

Sigh, so close to being able to make a "Mikel as CB? Genius!" post. Still, 1-1 at Anfield is never a bad result

I see Hazards totally-coincidentally-at-the-end-of-the-season improvement in form continues. Am I being cynical, or is he a tt perfectly aware of the shop window opp?

I think the whole squad need to have a good hard look at themselves in the mirror.

The Juve team called the dressing room Cape Canaveral due to the number of things he'd launch at non performing players at half time.
