£100K fine for the Man City fracas, and no points deducted.

I think we must surely now be drinking in the last chance saloon when it comes to player behaviour.

another hard fought win, and a great save from Tibo at the end. 12 months ago José had just had his final game in charge. what a difference a year makes

Scrappy first half, but a great goal from Costa.

Still on a roll clap We are looking very resilient - yet another clean sheet even with Sideshow Bob in defence , I will now sprinkle my hat with salt !! (Me of little faith when we resigned him wink )

The thing is, playing a three man back line means that Cahill and Azpilicueta get to do the job that Luiz isn't exceptional at, leaving him to play as a good old fashioned Libero, which he does seem to be good at. The further this season goes on, the more impressed I am with Conte. I read in the paper this morning that the (huge) support team he brought with him have had their contracts extended to three years.

Best striker in the prem? Difficult to argue against... not the first game he's had virtually nothing then chance = goal. We're homing in on Arsenals record of wins from their invincible season, 13 wins on the trot (11 currently). Next fixtures look tasty, no doubt Spurs away will be thrilled to stop us beating the record (but I think we'll match it), then end of Jan before tough ones come around. We could be a good margin ahead by then... what a turnaround.

Looking at the way things are going Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs are all going to have to beat you just to close the gap.

The great thing is no one has found a counter to or system. They've tried the high press, 3 at the back, parking the bus and counter attack but it's all failed. That said, no Costa or Kante for Bournemouth nw so will be interesting to see ho we line up

Also loving Conte. Such a pleasure to see his post match interviews rather than that scowling petulant the Special 1-1.

I have to agree , Conte seems a thoroughly decent chap.

Chelsea are a lot less unbearable with him in charge.

Shame Liverpool got that late winner last night. Still, 6 points clear at Xmas, would have taken 6 points off the top at this stage, if offered at the start of the season!!

Indeed, 'tis the season of goodwill to all men.....and Spurs fans.

Going to the match tomorrow and NYE. Hopefully extend this ridiculous run we're on. Will miss the Peterborough game and I have to fly down to the Costa Del Sol, collect a car and bring it back. But that should be fun in it's own right. Only a family hatch but I'm going to meander my way back over a leisurely week.
