So €2500 fine and a year suspended sentence for the 4 so called fans who racially abused a black guy on the Paris Metro. fking lock 'em up throw away the key as far as I'm concerned.

Agreed. They're not football fans. They just happen to be wearing Chelsea colours.

I don't agree wth the argument that they're not fans. They most certainly are fans, they spend good money following their team and devote a lot of time and energy to it as well. It's just that they are moronic fans.

They're footy fans, but they could be fans of ANY club.

But they're not. They're fans of our club. It's a cancer that needs to be eradicated. No point in saying anyone could have got it. We have it.

I think the club has done a lot but we're constantly let down by the courts. In this country and abroad. Thatcher was the worst. For all her tough talk, the courts in the 80s were handing out laughable sentences, and her "tough on crime" mob did nothing to change it.

Things have changed massively since the dark days of the 80's though. Incidents such as this used to happen on a weekly basis, now they're virtually unheard of

The courts are independent of the Government though.

The government can introduce legislation with minimum sentences for certain offences.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if they got relegated. Think we can now safely say last season was a fluke that we'll never see again in our lifetimes. The top 6 have all pulled their socks up and formed a mini league way above the rest. Of course the problem is 6 into 4 won't go..........
Yeah pretty flukey winning the league by a whole 10 points and watching spuds come 3rd in a 2 horse race. hehe

Why can't some other supporters accept that we smashed the league last season and upset the "top 4 nonsense" without having to say "luck" or "fluke" etc.

I can't see Leicester going down this season either. Far worse teams at the moment. In current form i think we will finish 14th

as for tonight, I will be cheering on chelsea! Please ensure spuds lose their st again and have plenty of players booked or even sent off like there should of been last time (Walker/eriksen/alli being the offenders)

One-off and fluke mean the same to some people.

I suppose it does help when teams agree the results before a ball is kicked too.

It didn't really. Even without that one game you still finished 3rd and over half a dozen points behind the eventual champions!

Presumably there's been collusion and conspiracy since 1961. I can't see any other reason why Spurs haven't won the league since?

Luckily for Chelsea they didn't have to roll over like that said they would.

All good runs come to an end frown Now would be a good time to win another 13 straight still being 5 clear. I suppose for the spuds it kind of makes up for us pissing on their title fire last year.........NOT !! biglaugh

1 loss in 14 game and 5 points clear at the top. Still, must hurt knowing Leicester have more Premier League titles than you.

Spurs sometimes win a battle but haven't won a war since 1961. This win is their season. For us it's just a bump in the road to another title.
