Shame that the pen didn't go in but in the context of other results that was a good nights work

Phew, that was breathless. Seems like a fair result and we've still moved a point further away at the top, so can't complain really.

Fair result on the balance of play, especially after not having a kick for the first 20 minutes !
Thought it was going to be one of those games when we nick it but after seeing the other results, a point makes for a good night.

It's easy to think that winning is crucial but then you remember that Arsenal always collapse and the st from the Lane will win fk all again.

I'd have taken a score draw pre game, as I suspect many of us would. Tough away fixture, great league position, bring on the gooners....

Shame we didn't win last night but overall a great result. We had a free kick just after we went 1 up, when Willian whipped it in and Luiz was inches away from prodding it in for 0-2. I think that would have been game over.

Poor pen from Costa. I remember the one he took for Athletico against us down the Matthew Harding end, when he blasted into the top corner. 2 keepers couldn't have saved it! furious

I'll take a point against Ar5e too.

Getting revenge feels good, September feels like an absolute lifetime ago. No clean sheet but it barely matters. The fat lady isn't singing yet, but she's going through her warm up

That was a humiliation. And to think back in the day I used to be scared of Arsenal, when they had black and white hooped socks and more recently the Viera era. Now they're a spineless pathetic bunch of no hopers. Can't understand why we still charge category A prices for them.

It's just what they do at this time of the year.

Back from the match. They were awful which meant we just had to be fairly average to win comfortably. Sanchez, who I really rate, looked like a fan who'd won a competition to play. Dreadful. Ozil (who is overrated anyway) was rubbish. And secret agent Cech did the business!

Oxtail Chamberpot was the only one of their lot who seemed to give a damn. Very odd considering a win for them would have narrowed the gap to an assailable 6 points.

It's Arsenal. Now the pressure's off they'll go on a good run and lift the fourth place trophy again

Ker-chel-sea, sorry knee, on that second goal had a horror show ... great goal though. How he was allowed to go from halfway was a bit Peter Storey though

Looks like that's Liverpool out of the title race as well. Good times.

I want to see the first goal on TV tonight. From where I was (East Lower) it looked like Alonso fouled Ballerina going for the header. Was relieved it was allowed.

If that had been on the goalie it would have been disallowed.

Just back from the game myself, via the pub for a few celebratory beers. Good atmosphere today, particularly after Hazard scored the second. Good solid performance I thought, with Arsenal rarely looking like troubling us.

Their fans were very quiet after the first goal, so it was left to the home fans to sing, "Arsene Venger, we want you to stay...'

Definite foul for the first goal, but there's no way the Arsenal defenders of the recent past would have allowed themselves to be fouled in that situation, and then hope the ref has seen it. Adams, Bould, Keown all would have got to that ball as if their life depended on it.

As a team they have far too many pretty boys who can really play, and no one whose job it is to stop the other team from playing.
