Still 7 points clear with another game gone. So in a better position than we were this morning. Next week is huge, Spuds play Bournemouth before we play at Man U.

Another good win and pleased for Alonso...pretty sure both of his previous free kicks have hit the bar so it had to happen at some point!

Spuds managed to finish third in a two horse race last season so I suspect that they will drop a few more points themselves.

Another big weekend though I agree

This current Spuds are, and it breaks my heart to say it, the real deal. Mentally tougher than last year. They will be PL winners if they can keep the squad together, but hopefully not this season.

They've out played us twice this season (although we won one of the games). I'm going to the cup semi and I think it could go either way.

They've still got to play Arsenal, Man U and Leicester away in their final games though, so I highly doubt they'll get 9 points from that

What does the real deal mean?

Can we wait to the end of the season and compare trophies before deciding that.

I accept they're the second best team in the league and will be very tough opponents at Wembley but if they were the real deal they'd be leading us by seven points.

It means unlike previous Spurs teams, this lot, if the squad stays together, will actually win stuff over the next few years.

I agree. I think they'll get second this year and be within 10 points of Chelsea, which isn't bad considering Chelsea have looked imperious for most of the season now. That's a good hit at the title twice in two years. They have a young squad that's only getting better each season and they're getting experience of what it takes to win stuff and how to cope with the pressure.

As many people are saying, if they can keep Poch, Kane and Alli, I fully expect them to win a title in the next few years. As much as it pains me to say.

Agreed. Even minus Kane they're scoring freely and not conceding. Yes they've got to play Man U and Arsenal but both are ste so think those 6 points are in the bag. Conte is right we have to assume Spurs will win every game.

If we lose it'll be like disabling one of our airbags.

If we win it'll be like loosening the nuts on Spurs offside front wheel.

I'd say it would be like grabbing hold of Spurs's nuts but not twisting them.

Then we'll need 4 wins and 2 draws from the remaining 6 games, 4 of which are at home

Jose parking a huge red bus today, Obviously i would want a united win today but i really dislike the thought of the biggest team in the world parking the bus.

You may as well just give them the ball because they are not going to go forward very much.
