My bad. I didn't realize he was injured and don't recall seeing anything. i wasn't saying he's great last season and deserves to be playing. I was just wondering if something had happened.

I remember a radio phone in I heard years ago. The guest was a manager of local side (some Midlands team, can't recall now). Anyhow, this bloke comes on and says "why the hell don't you play Fred Bloggs in the middle. He was great last season, but now you won't give him a look in. Have you had a row with him, because he's far better than that lummox you're playing in his place" The caller continues to berate the manager for about 5 mins. Eventually the host says to the manager "care to answer that caller? " and the manager says "he's got a broken leg."

Did they actually say that he lied? Was that when he was giving evidence to them? or to the courts?

A lot of fuss being made over Ashley Cole's tweet. Honestly, the way people are going on, you'd think he'd shot someone. getmecoat

3-1 already, very entertaining match. Could be a big scoreline today.... Even Mikel went close with a shot!

I didn't expect anything other than a comprehensive Chelsea win today. Sounded like Norwich gave it a go in the first half. Games like today won't decide their fate.

Chelsea have made a very good start to the season.

Low and wide instead of high and wide. Definitely getting closer. Will definitely score in the next 3 seasons.

167th premiership appearance today, and no goals. Worst record ever for a prem midfielder. However, despite that, I wouldn't be without him. A Ronseal player, he does what it says on the tin.

Blimey - never realised that! Remember when he was the world's hottest prospect and we'd pulled a coup by luring him from Man U?

Lampards goalscoring ways balances him out nicely, so its all fine.

Exactly. Mikel playing the Makelele roll allows Lampard to get forward far more than he otherwise would do.

Eh? Mikel compared with Makele in a positive way? He isn't a tenth of the player that Tripod was in his pomp, and he never will be IMHO.

He doesn't read the game in the same way, he takes too long on the ball, and he isn't positive when he has it.

Apart from that he's awesome.
