I haven't seen the game (I was at work) and I doubt I can bring myself to watch MOTD but by all accounts it was a good game and a fair result so on that note, fair play.
I hate losing but as I can bear it when it's fair.
Clutches heart, falls over and dies. (for the second time this week)I hate losing but as I can bear it when it's fair.
Excellent win today, really entertaining game of football. We were pretty dominant but for the phase in the second half when Spurs scored their goals (which were handball & a misplaced shot-turned-pass respectively). Seems strange the only team we've dropped points to are currently propping up the table! Hazard & Oscar have both had excellent starts to the season, but for me Juan Mata has been our best player thus far. Luiz is looking better (ie less likely to do something stupid!) game by game, and even Mikel is looking more and more like a solid, no nonsense player. Did RDM study alchemy?

PS Fair play EP & BCM - I expected some nasty provocative posts but you've taken it well. Fair enough, we were better on the day & I think you're fighting a different battle anyway: bet you'll give the gooners a fright for 4th/5th? (Especially after tonights result LOL)
I think we should still be aiming to get 4th at least, we have a great squad.essexplumber said:

Did John Terry not appeal his ban partly because, had he done so, he would have been wearing a "kick racism out of football" t'shirt @ WHL yesterday?
I doubt it. More likely the club want an end to this saga. I do find it ironic that Rio decided to make some sort of principled protest, given that he's a racist too as evidenced by his choc ice tweet.968 said:

Maybe he didn't want to wear the shirt for fear of appearing hypocritical? No, actually its because he's as big a cock as JT when it comes to personality.

Yes he's as much of a self important prick, no doubt. He undoubtedly thought it might make a statement to the 'man' however he's a total hypocrit as are the people who fail to condemn his casual racism against white people. No, actually its because he's as big a cock as JT when it comes to personality.
